Very happy to hear you loved it, Jayzus - it really is great, isn't it?

Part 1 is also up on YouTube and, last time i looked, part 2 was on Dailymotion.

Boris's gang does what Boris's gang wants.

Do as they say, not as they do.

Nasty, vile bunch who are running rampant.

Wise words, Colin!

A cursory glance on eBay shows that people are suddenly paying silly money for some of the early DH Aliens/Predator/Terminator minis.

No idea why the prices have shot up like they have - surely not connected to the recent news?

It might still be in the Beeb's archives, or maybe, someone managed to record it?

I've trawled the length and breadth of t'net over the years, to no avail.  I still check Youtube every now and then, just to see if it's somehow popped up.

I'd love to see it, too.

Just read about this over at CBR, where there's some lovely David Finch promo art:

The various DC crossovers throughout the years were mostly good fun, so here's hoping the inevitable Avengers Vs Alien Vs Predator is on that level.

A little bit of me is sad that Dark Horse have lost the licence, though: they mostly did the franchises right, especially the early minis, which really helped to put DH and, by extension, indie comics, on the map for a lot of people back in the late 80s.

Fond memories of Aliens #1 and Predator #1 coming out.

Sigh. I'm old.

Queen of the Black Coast was fine, although the art was way too cartoony for my tastes.

Red Nails #1 is now out and is much more like it. The art is stunning.

And in August we get People of the Black Circle, which looks similarly gorgeous.

Definitely recommended.

In addition to him contributing to the upcoming Heavy Metal #300, he's doing art on this new 6 part series:

Was gutted to read about Angelis, and today I'm equally sad to read Steve Priest has left us.

I bloody love The Sweet and the realisation that there's only Andy Scott left is very sobering indeed.

Sleep well, chaps.

I'm suprised Hachette are as slapdash as they are.

This latest parcel really does take the biscuit: shipping books out in a box that wasn't sealed at all - madness!

It's all very discouraging, isn't it?

I generally only use FP now, but as Hachette were the only ones that had those particular books, i went with them.

As you say, IP, why they and other sellers don't just use a little bit more packaging, expensive mistakes would easily be avoided.

It's exasperating!

What is going on with Hachette?

I emailed them to ask about 2000ad restocks - they replied with "they're all in stock on the website".

Today an order from them arrived. The box was clearly unsealed, no tape, the flaps weren't even pushed in.

One book inside,  the others books are AWOL.

Not a huge problem in the scheme of things,  but it spoils collecting, and i really will only ever use FP again in the future.
