Hi there. I just registered to see if I could get a bit of help with something.

Many moons ago I owned a 2000AD comic which had a complete story in in with a couple of extra shorts at the end. I can't remember if it was a special edition or not, but I'm trying to find out what it was called and to see if I could find another copy (would have been well over 10 years ago).

The story revolved around Earth in the future and in this future man has developed immortatilty (the humans are evolved and are humanoid, but have tubes with suckers on the end coming out from the tops of their heads for maintanence/etc). Unfortunately this comes with a draw back... Unknown to mankind, beyond life there is a place called limbo and beyond that a (heaven) sphere for every race. Normaly the dead enter limbo and battle these daemon entities there before passing onto their races sphere. Where races have developed immortality there is no flow of fresh souls to battle the daemons and the daemon poulation can take over limbo and eventually force their way into the world of the living annihilating all they come into contact with.

The story focuses on 1 subversive immortal who is killed by his leaders in order to go to limbo to become learn more of what has happened and to do battle with the daemons and the majority of the tail follows him.

Like I said I can't remember the name of the story or the characters or the author, however it popped into my head recently and I would love to try to get another copy of it (nostalgia).

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)
