Has anyone got the Extreme Edition yet? I've been charged for it but nothing has turned up. I've not seen one in the shops anywhere either...

I had a fairly long break from reading 2000AD (not far off fifteen years if you're going to push me for a confession) and I'm about to buy the Necropolis collections.

Are there any other books anyone would recommend me reading first, or does the story stand reasonably well on it's own? (I've got quite a few of the anthologies - The Pit, Wilderlands, Doomsday's, Fetish and quite a lot of the Ennis books from Titan).
