I feel sorry for people in Bruno's position but I do have a hard time feeling sorry for the man himself. Why? Cos people tend to forget he was the "man" who gave his wife a kicking! Now, Adam Ant I do have pity for.

News / Re: Leopard Of Lime Street to be r...

That's great news. I used to love Leopard Of Lime Street. I read all of them and remember Buster later reprinting the first few in a mini comic that came free with one of the issues of Buster. I'm sure I've still got them somewhere.

Gamecube with Zelda was ?129 at Game a month ago so should still be the same. As for graphics cards, you could always buy the Geforce MX440 for around ?50. It's not the best but it's 64mb & will play any game that's out at the moment. My daughter has it & it plays them all (Medal Of Honor, Wolfenstein, Soldier Of Fortune 2, Jedi Knight 2, Max Payne etc).

Yay! At last my local newsagent got loads of copies in this morning. I have to say at ?2.99 it's a bargain considering how much is in it.

Not a single newsagent in my town has stocked it. Looks like a subscription is looming.

General / what did I miss?

The last time I posted I was pretty much still a newcomer here but was just starting to figure out who everyone was when I had to shoot off to Canada for a few months. Anyway, now I'm back & a friend has kindly been buying Tooth every week for me and I now have a lovely pile of comics to catch up on. What I want to know is (without spoilers please) do I have reason to get excited? Has it been good reading the last couple of months?

Help! / Re: Who are you?

Hi. I'm 33 & only been reading since January this year (but since caught up on a few years worth). I've been posting since then too but pretty much still a newbie as I've been away for a couple a months (and trying to avoid the boards so I could catch up spoiler free on my return back to Blighty).
As for favourites it would be Dredd & Sinister Dexter but that could change depending on what I've been missing. Not the biggest fan of Slaine but still better than most of the rubbish I read.

At the top of your browser click on "view" then "text size" & make sure it's not set higher than "medium". If it is there's your problem.

You could always download Netscape 7. It has tabbed browsing so you can keep open windows in the browser & click back & forth from one to the other. Sounds just what you're after. You can also use it when you're on AOL. Just connect with AOL then minimise it & open Netscape. Opera also has tabbed browsing but I prefer Netscape (though Opera has nothing but good reviews). If you're only on a 56k then Opera is a much quicker download.

"nb the simple multi-region hack for that dvd player is on this link btw. Think I'll be getting one as our old dvd recently packed up."

Yep that's where I got the hack for mine and I can't recommend the player highly enough (no problems at all with hack - plays anything you throw at it). While you're there do a search of the forums for the Pacific 1002. Nothing but good comments.
