General / Re: What did Fargo look like?........

Fargo appears in Oz , drawn by Brenden McCarthey as I recall, with the helmet firmly stuck to his head. Be nice to see Fargo's adventures in 2000ad i've painted my own page featuring him in the "Battle of Amergeddon" which will be up online soon

Watchmen , masterpiece, although V for Vendetta is great the mix of colour and the heavy inking didnt work for me ,guess i'd prefer to see a black and white version, I really liked David Lloyds artwork when it's in monochrome , Gibbons art and Higgins colours workrd really well together(especially the covers)but the greatest things are the story structures and the little quirks that Moore introduces such as having Nixon going on till the mid eighties, fantastic book , pisses on Dark Knight Returns(although I like Miller) which came out at the same time

Anyone remember a shortlived IPC Comic called Speed?I liked the logo, I think a few stories in the New Eagle originated in Speed, bit of a dodgy name for a kid's comic looking back lol!Did the old 70's Valient strip One Eyed Jack appear in Eagle?

#49 Great to see McMahon artwork after all those years, although it's a typical Dredd cover,#51 Worst cover never liked Sampsoms Anderson always looked liked photo copies that have been painted over, although theres nothing wrong with mixed media if done well.

Its between the Arthur Ranson#14 and McNeil #12 cover, I guess McNeil although not a great period in Megazine history I think I stopped reading it around this time, wish Brendan McCarthey did a few Megazine covers he's first class when it comes to cover design

Off Topic / Re: Hamish Macbeth as Hitler.........

I remember The New Adventures of Hitler awesome stuff, was it ever turned into a graphic novel, theres a scene where he see's The Smiths in his wardrobe. Adolf also appeared in a Charleys War story line, hopefully that will be reprinted. Robert Carlisle did a decent job potraying him but I wasnt sure of the direction ,(It was made for U.S tv) perhaps if It was made by the same people who made that Churchill film "The Gathering Storm" (I think) It may of worked better.
