Like in most media it depends on the creators
the recent & early V.Cs had some good space battles whereas Vanguard seemed a bit flat to me.

RED FANG! & any prog with Bec & Kawl in it is wasting at least five or six pages.Tor Cyan wins
the most meandering piece of nothing award though!

What happened to the opening of 2000ad films as a share issue.Did it tank like a Panzer or did many a richer tooth fan take it up?

Ahh the classic Spiderman series ,my childhood must-see series. Thanks for the reminder about the
showings. As for the animes, several 2000ad characters could be good & it's not so far-fetched with the upcoming Snake Plissken anime and all.

Yeah, seen two John Does and it is excellent! Also
caught an early cut of the Tru calling pilot with
Eliza Dushku.Eliza's great but can see why the show's been put back for re-working,it just doesn't hang together.

Must be 'Bazooka Boy Meets Hannibal Smith' from
Disney's Condorman.Did Andy Diggle et al really
want to grow up to be Micheal Crawford?

General / Re: TOP TEN HORROR FILMS

Hard to pin it down but I'll go for
1.the Thing
2.Dawn of the Dead
3.Alien
4.Halloween
5.American Werewolf in London
6.The Howling
7.Phantasm
8.The Omen
9.Poltergeist
10.Scream

recent films bubbling under are 28 Days Later,
Wrong Turn and The Ring.
Plus anybody seen 'Versus' deeply cool and not exactly what you expect.Ghosts of Mars is ok but
the flashbacks within flashback structure grates a bit.

Just seen on the bbfc website that they've just classified Ralph Bakshi & Frank Frazetta's Fire & Ice for video(and DVD I assume).Obviously it's fantasy setting makes it the perfect Rings cash-in(irony overload). It's not half bad though & the defination of obscurity since the 80s.

Hey I won a prize,a date with Holly Vallance would be nice!Seriously guys, sorry if you've talked this subject to death but am new to the boards.More original threads coming soon include
'what do you think of the Stallone Dredd and what
should 2000ad be called in the year...oh'.
Please don't throw me out ,it's like that unfortunate 'Olsen Twins' thing all over again.

So the upcoming film Underworld features werewolves & vamps at war and a falling in love of two of the combatants.Meanwhile in the new Galactica miniseries from Sci Fi old enemies the Cylons return and can disable the humans new ships and weaponry forcing them to use old equipment and tactics.Oh well ,at least somebody is reading 2000ad and taking a healthy interest-and flattering its writers in the most sincere way!
