it has just become illegal to chip  xbox's in the uk, I'm not 100% sure but I think its ok to have one but ownership of chips with the intention to mod is definitly illegal

also i have mame on my xbox & its pretty crap,
my pc was pretty out of date up until very recently & I could run much more games on it than on the xbox

I heard about this in work last week,
obviously not all stores took the game of the shelves, surely cause there strong believers in free speech & not to try & ca$h in on the fact there the only ones selling it, these stores were making sure that NO ONE UNDER 18 bought the game & every1 who bought it should have ID until a large branch in london sold a fifteen year old (could be 16) boy a copy who suprise suprise was undercover for the press & all hell broke lose which ended with the police involvment & even stricter selling procedures now having sold a couple myself Im not suprised some stores dont bother
I dont tHink it would be professional to say were i work but iM sure if you wanted you could Very easily figure it out

Help! / old progs in eire

After rediscovering my love for all things 2000ad I've decided to take up the task of refilling all the holes in my collection (albeit at a slow pace, only started around '95 & there's a few years missing in between) but I cant seem to get my hands on old progs anywhere in Dublin (well anywhere I've found was way overpriced) I don't mind travelling down the sticks if I have to but would rather keep it in Ireland as it would be easier to get those sucka's home

My mate was roadie with the Coors & got blamed for watching porn on the tour bus... despite the porn being straight & him being gay

Also & friend of mine was a having a drink out in a pub in the city when he bumped into Colm Farrell spent the whole night boozing with him then in the early hours bought a disposable camera to get pics to prove it

I met Bam Magera when he came into the shop I work in made a complete ass out of myself, so when I spotted Alice Cooper in my local topshop a couple of weeks ago I was to embarrassed to say hello
Met bono a few years back he seemed cool, but id still say he's a pr**k
My girlfriend also met him in her job, she was totally nonchalance with him I'm so proud

Which reminds me of another story which is a bit more to do with the tread title a friend of a friend was once taking a leak in a Dublin cinema when bono came in & stood at the urinal, well bono couldn't start up, as I'm sure you guys can understand, when the m o a m noticed this he turned to the man himself & said:"what's up bono, got stage freight!!"

there also releasing a chris cunningham short later in the year called Rubber Johnny
which is described as follows:

'Rubber Johnny' documents a 16-year-old, inbred mutant's solitary existence, locked in a pitch-black basement by his ashamed parents. They are TV addict rednecks who occasionally feed Johnny and yell at him for making noise. Johnny's only company in the basement is his little dog. His dog's I.Q. far outstrips Johnny's, who is a completely insane, bi-polar imbecile. This abstract short film directed by Chris Cunningham and music by Aphex Twin is scheduled for release late in 2004.

and theve done a movie called Dead Mans Shoes directed by Shane Meadows dont know much bout this though
