I've spent the last year or so fine tuning my collections and after much pressure from my other half have decided to see if it's all been worthwhile.

Admittedly I am aiming a bit high initially. I expect to have come down on my asking price eventually to make the sale. If the whole lot goes for much under a grand though I'd be quite disappointed.

The flys in the ointment are that issues 1 and 78 have tears, but they're silly money even with the rips.(I should know as I paid silly money for them.) As much as I'd like to splash out to get everything perfect I have to draw the line somewhere. I've already spent a good few hundred so far getting it to where its at now.

I figured a Megazine collection and a load of specials more than makes up for the less than perfect issues.

Yeh its painful saying goodbye but the way I've had to store these most never get looked at so what's the point having them. Most of the decent stuff made it to trade. Though it's a pity Rebellion didn't keep everything that was colour rather than the crappy scans they did (I would of happily paid extra).

Some guy just sold a complete run, bar about 50 or so in the 1300s onwards missing, for 800 quid. I figured a complete run without the first 4 has got to be worth about the same. I might throw in some specials to make up for 1-4 being missing. 800 quid gets me a lot of trade editions on ebay.

To be honest once Ive plugged the gaps in my collection I'm actually going to be selling it. Its taking up too much room and my mrs makes a good point that I might as well have a photo of it. I've started getting graphic novels of the stories I liked, bit easier on the eye than loads of comics in piles and easier to get at.

Hi. I'm trying to plug up the gaps in my collection and can't seem to be able to find a comprehensive list of all the various specials (SciFi, Winter, JD mega specials etc). A link to a complete and up to date list would be awesome. Cheers.
