if anyone should be concerned about frankie boyles rascist remarks, just watch mock the week, hes laughed and joked with indians and black people, not once did i see him don a white pointy hood.
i agree that alot of his sketches are awful. esp his stand-up scenes beofre and after the sketches. but evey nowand again, theres something really funny.like george micheals highway code, the a team sketch and a few others. its barely enough to make me sit through the cringe worthy crap in between the good sketches though

went into hospital to see the fracture clinic about my leg, it turns out its actuay worse than originally thought, so i was admitted into hospital care straight away, and i was prepped for a operation. then i waited. it took two days of constant waiting, filling my trousers and general unpleasantness (i wasnt able to eat, drink or go for a ciggy in 27 hours).
after the two day wait,iv been told when il get the operation. monday. atleast iv got a weekend pass, so im home for xmas and boxing day. just sucks iv asted two days focusing on how awesome food drink and ciggys are. ohh, and its about time, so merry xmas!!!!!!

Books & Comics / Re: Whats everyone reading?

alas, i havnt read the arthur series, but im meaning to
. whilst doing reenactment, iv fought in a shield wall, and it is incredibly repetitive. push, hack, push, hack. but i think the repetitive shield wall sequences also serve to highlight the "sword-song" uthred feels in combat. as the story is being told by uthred reflecting on his youth, i can imagine that an old man wouldnt be able to look back and remember exact details during combat if hes entirly fuelled by adreneline and passion. he may remember feeling the sword-song,but is it possible to remember recapture thesmaller elements of combat that makes each fight so unique.
or possibly its just highlighting the repetitive butchering that was dark-age mass combat.
very sorry if this seems pretentious and full of awful typos and grammar, but iv just taken alot of painkillers! il edit this post when im a more suitable frame of mind.

burning island by bernard cornwell (book 5 of the ulthred series).
its about vikings killing saxons, then saxons killing vikings. this book heavily features killing. and apparently the sentance "i drew wasp-sting, the short blade being more practical in a shield wall than the longer bladed serpent-breath" anytime theres a shield wall, theres this one damn line. great books though

mccs (and rc's) are generally relaxed clubs, focusing more of parties and and having a good time.

mcs have strict rules, you have to prospect before you can join, and are generally associated with illegal activities. clubs like hells angels, blue angels, satans slaves, outlaws and devils disciples are the biggest in the uk.

easy way to tell a mcc and a mc member apart is that mcc members wear small club patches on the front of their jackets or vests. mcc members wear 3 large back patches (club name, badge, and the chapter)

the slaves arnt a mcc, they are a mc. mcc being a social club, mc being a outlaw club.
iv met a few slaves here, theres a chapter in this area, and most of them are really nice! iv also drunk with some members of the patriots mc and blue angels mc. they are all decent guys. i wouldnt want to pick a fight with them though!

who told you my name????

Haha I actually like the Brit Cit ones...plus have you seen the termight replica Brit Cit helmets!! Want one!
aye man, wouldnt mind one for myself!
id love to see termight make cal-hab helmet and gubbins, but only as im a scot. i think he cal-hab uniform is horrible! easily the worst looking on in my humble opinion. id have preferred it if the helmets were made from empty tenants crates, and the armour from the tins.
and dont worry, i havnt forgotten your badge, it will be with you before the day is out
