Whilst i'm ranting about it.  i'd just love to get that mouthy twat from those pop idol shows at the bottom of a ruck in hellfire corner and tread all over the b*****d.

the "vote for a pop star" culture destroyed any meaning to the charts long ago.

these days it seems anyone can manufacture a star.

makes me realise just how bloody lucky we were in the 70's, when bands had to have talent and establish careers to achieve anything.

to this fish the modern music industry is total corporate controlled bollocks.

Mad world was a single in the early eighties by Tears for Fears.

I am not aware of any other covers prior to this though.

that's probably very true.

we are in society that conditions us to consume consume consume so i does kind of buck that trend.

hey, no turnaround. i only said giving was good and helping others was in the spirit.

i never said who to give to.  that's up to everyone to decide innit.

They nailed him to a tree for a bit more than that mate.

but yes, i totally agree with your sentiment.  The true meaning of christmas to those who believe in him is that he would give everything to enable us to be forgiven for our behaviour and yet we still persist in being evil, cruel, greedy bastards.

So indeed, if someone like that can give what we he did, perhaps we can give just a little to help others , all year-end round if possible indeed not that i manage that all the time, though i believe being kind , gnerous and loving to your friends is also a great form of charity.
