I'm delighted Mrs Trout is OK.

Thanks for the words of wisdom.  Very very true.

I do drive but i drive pretty slow (though that guarantees nothing because no matter how careful you try to be, someone else might not be).  Having said that i am not perfect and have made so bloody silly mistakes over the years.

The measures you mention can only help.

It makes you think , life really is here today gone tomorrow and we should make the best of the time we have.

You can be making your way along as normal and then it's over. very scary.

I nearly got taken off my cycle by an old man just last week.   I was cycling past an island up a steep hill.  He needed to slow down and wait for me to go through and then pass me.  He didn't , he burst stright through (clearly well over the 30 limit) and scatt me with his wing mirror.  I stayed on thank god just.  What a twat, a few more inches to the left i was stuffed.  I screamed blue bloody murder at him (he did at least stop briefly).

as trout says, careful on the road folks.

Yep.. do what the man says Agrivar... it will make your life complete.

p.s. i cheated a bit and went for SSX Tricky with it (cheap now) so i could experience both styles. playing that now, ace.

so amped 2 is definately the game to buy this side of christmas then?  nothing else coming?

a mate reckons that (based on amped and ssx tricky) SSX is much more fun and more accessibe, reckons that amped can be annoyingly hard.

what do you reckon?

i was wondering:

SSX 3 seems to sell better than amped 2?

any idea why? is it a better or more fun game?

James: your a good chap for being "in the know" on games.

I am trying to choose my next game.

I can't decide between XIII, Project Gotham 2, Crimson Skies and Amped 2.

Of those games, which would you reckon will "rock my socks off" and give me the most enjoyment?

real rugby? lol

they are struggling because it is played in such a limited geographic area that the player is badly effected.

It had it's chance when rugby union was still amateur and many top players went over .  It blew it and never grew out of it's northern heartlands enough to.

Union winning the world cup will not help your game at all on the day the league team blow it to an aussie second string.

i quite enjoy watching league, though i've never seen it live (not played anywhere near here), it has a place but lets respect the merits of both hey!!

I'm just delighted that the best team of the last 2 years won and that they were the better side on the night.

It was great to see 2 cornish lads in the team 1.

Finally, agree totally with PVS.  It backfired bigtime ; as Larry D said "this was not banter, it was downright disrespectful and on-eyed" . hope they are happy now :-)
