You'd have thought 2000AD would be a natural for going 'droid.

Loads of Wagner/Grant classics to choose from, but if no one else has mentioned it, I'm throwing "Cockroaches" from prog 1627 by Al Ewing and Ben Oliver in there.

Yes, it's really, really insulting, and one of the things that convinced me my alleged talents and however much time I've got left as a writer would be better spent writing my own stuff rather than Dredd.  When faced with comments along the lines of "Well, I liked this, but it's not by Wagner, so what's the point?" you do indeed wonder what the point

That's a real shame.  Personally I really liked your stuff on Dredd and hope to see more.

The Meg is the best it's been in absolutely ages at the moment.  No duffers in there at all.

One thing about De Marco -
wouldn't that indestructible Nano bot stuff have avoided all that Chaos Day mass death stuff?
.  Enjoying the Carroll Dredd-verse at the moment with all the Sov stuff.

The Man Comes Around was rather excellent.  Rob Williams said somewhere about how the art would have looked fantastic on the old 2000AD bog paper and he's right.

Ordinary continues to be marvelous.   Can't agree with whoever said they don't like the art.  D'israeli can do no wrong in my book, and the whole concept is just so simple.

Anderson: I've thought for a long time that the Cass being appalled and sickened by the brutality of life in the Meg has to go somewhere, so to see it moving on was interesting. Great art as well.

Loved the end of Damnation Station.  Most "2000AD end" to a series in a while.  I actually gave a little cheer as I read it at how unnecessary it was.  Excellent.

Hoping Brass Sun won't be away for too long, but Flesh has lost me if I'm honest.

I'm not convinced this isn't just an episode of Only Fools and Horses.

Anyone got a spare they wouldn't mind selling, to spare me trawling all the WHSmith's of the south!

Many thanks!   ;)

I had a bugger of a job finding this.  Don't know where you are, but I eventually found that Forbidden Planet in London had plenty, if that helps.

Thanks Matt.  At least I know they're out there now.  Popped into WHSmith's in Victoria station which had nearly 2 dozen copies of the prog, all of the Slaine version.

Did anyone get the Sea Demon cover?  Just done a quick tour of half of Central London and only found the Slaine one.  Does it exist?

Is Fabry's art reproduced from the pencils?   Quite a nice effect however it's done.

Wilsher on Dredd and 10 Seconders.  Other than the mighty Carlos, it can't be too often a droid has been on double art duties in a single issue.

I am quite ludicrously excited by the back inside cover.

Depends where you are really.  Obviously there's the stores in the centre of town, but there's quite a few local comic shops as well.  Mega City in Camden is good, and there's a few others too.

Am I right in thinking that this was originally supposed to go on for much longer but Mr Moore was somehow offended and all future development got scuppered?

I think you're right in thinking that about quite a lot of Alan Moore series

Got a funny feeling Wagner has brought him back only to kill him off at the end of this series.

I've seen a preview of the first episode and if the plot isn't massively original, it's very well put together and well worth a watch
