A bathhouse or a bathhouse - repeated several times because bots are crap!

Not the best argument regarding current Politics but I appreciate the effort. I would say though that you haven't included enough Bathhouses.

Prog / Prog 2193 - Nothing To See Here?
01 August, 2020, 11:42:46 AM
Epic cover by Mark Harrison.

Thrill of the future - What is Department K?

Dredd - End Of Days, Part 10. Judge Patrick sacrifices herself for the greater good and instantly regrets it. Grim end indeed! Dredd hands himself into the Sovs. Yeah, you heard me. I'm enjoying this tale a lot.

Full Tilt Boogie continues.

Diaboliks - Profondo Rosso. The sixth and final part of this strip. Decent ending to this run and also lays a little ground for future tales. Set to return in Prog 2197.

The Oder - Land Of The Free, Part 10. Antoine Berg goes full mental with a Steampunk Mini-Gun thing and goads Bacon into the Frying pan. Or in front of a Train rather. Chin up Bacon... and arms... and legs.

The Out. Kej Daddy-Warbucks steals the show in this episode as he tries to keep Cyd from being too much of a Human. By which I mean causing unnecessary hassle. Oh, and there's a glimpse of the Tankinar! Great episode.

There's a letters page.

Fear! Largely due to the Deadworld re-imagining of this character. There's a panel in a previous series of DW with Fear standing on his own and when asked what he is he says - "I'm an idea.". To me this adds an actual Psychological element to the character rather than the 'Gaze into the face of Fear' which just made him seem a bit one-note and ineffectual.

Mortis because he's an excellent character in both versions of the Dark Judges.

Prog / Re: Prog 2192 - Bearing Down!

Dredd was the highlight of the Prog for me! Outanding episode and I have no problem with Shako being in it. Much in the same way as Ichabod and the Head I think it all hints to more than just Four Horsemen tearing the shit out of the Human Race.

The Diaboliks really has grown on me and this episode is top notch.

The Order continues to be great and I expect some sort of limited edition hardback to be announced at some point. Guaranteed purchase!

The Out continues to intrigue and the artwork... absolutely stunning. Epic Space-Ports and Giant War Machines set against more intimate moments with the travelling party. This is thrill that I'd like to see run for a while. After all we did get around 20 weeks of Brink in a row and by Grud I did think it too many!

Five long years after the release of the successful (and absolutely outstanding) Apex Predator/Easy Meat, Napalm Death are finally releasing a new album. Available for pre-order from the following:

napalmrecords.com Standard CD and Media book versions.

The Decibel Store De-Weponised Steel and Black Swirled Vinyl.

Nuclear Blast Special edtion CD with 3 bonus tracks.

I personally cannot vouch for any of these companies as I've never used them!

I'll link to a couple of songs for the multitude one or two of you that may be interested.

Backlash Just Because which is a bonus track on the special edition. I like It.

White Kross which is a cover song originally by Sonic Youth and is the B-Side to the available EP Logic Ravaged By Brute Force.

Enjoy!

I would say he's intelligent.

Rejuve treatments aside: As a Judge you wouldn't get to Dredd's age and see as much action in MC1 if you didn't have more about you than just a strong arm and a gun.

Have I remembered this tag line wrong?

Respect the Badge
Fear the Gun
Dredd the man?

Sounds a bit like I Am The Law! by Anthrax.

Respect the Badge - He earned it with his blood.
Fear the Gun - The sentence may be Death because...
I Am The Law!

Games / Re: Last game played...
12 July, 2020, 07:37:37 AM
Erica which is currently free on PS4.

Not a game in the true sense, Erica is an interactive Horror film and it's pretty good, IMO.

The running time is only about 90 mins (2 hours if you factor in the odd cup of tea) so it doesn't outstay its welcome and gives some incentive for at least one more play through due to the limited run time and multiple endings. You can't skip anything though so if you're going to play more than once you'll have to watch a lot of the same scenes again.

Recommended highly and it's free.

Also free (on PS4) this month is Rise of the Tomb Raider which I haven't yet played and NBA 2K20 which can crack right on as I have little interest in Sportsgames and even less interest in Basketball!
