Still one of my all time favorite Batman comics.

Mine too.

I understand the complaints about Batgirl being crippled and photographed nude but people seem to be forgetting a certain rape-scene in the Dredd story America. A story which many regard to be the best Dredd tale ever.

I've ben thinking about getting that. it's sounds sweet. Yet, what would you recommend for the person who's never brought any of their sounds.

Powerslave and Seventh Son... are great albums. My favourites of their earlier work.

Deadpool. I enjoyed it. Quite funny and some good action scenes. Gives me hope that one day we'll see a Ulysses Sweet movie.

I don't read the comics; partly because I don't want the series spoiled.  Are they better, worse or just different?

The overall story is the same but there are differences in characters and deaths. I got the first two compendiums from Amazon (1000+ pages per book, less than £30) but I found the second book a bit of a Borefest!

That's why you get for watching it on the dodgy download, N-kev!

Blue-ray quality dodgy download I'll have you know!

Seriously though, obviously I'm not the target audience for this which is fair enough, but I feel it really didn't live up to the hype it got. The F/X is good but not outstanding like I would expect from a film series of such pedigree. And with some tighter writing wouldn't have needed so much Harrison Ford who, to me, looked like he'd rather be doing something else.

Still, each to their own!

Star Wars VII - The Force Awakens. Finally watched this and I have to say I'm disappointed. The comparisons with the other films (regarding plot) didn't really bother me and Kylo Ren is a solid enough character, but the film itself didn't feel very Star Wars-ie to me. Phantom Menace is far better!

My parcel arrived today, and I was disappointed to find that all three hardbacks had 'dinged' corners.

Anyone else have an issue? Or even care?
I'm reluctant to contact Rebellion regarding such superficial damage, but I'm the kind of person who really hates that kind of thing.

I had seven books in the same box encased in thick bubble-wrap, no damage to any of them. If yours are damaged I would have thought they could be replaced, bearing in mind that some items might be currently out of stock due to the sale.

microwaved eggs are wrong...

They are indeed! I visited a 'Subway' some years ago enticed by their "Eat Fresh" signs. I asked for egg and a piece of yellow something was taken out of the fridge and slapped into the microwave.

Fresh my Arse!

VR certainly looks good but I would be more interested if they had some kind of glove/peripheral that could simulate touching something, for a more immersive experience.

Realm of the Damned is coming along nicely. Fantastic art and I'm really not bothered by the swearing and nudity!

Dredd: Dust. Excellent.

De Marco. Didn't like this at all and I'm not a fan of the character. Would've preferred her being killed off rather than Travis.

V/H/S 2 not a patch on the first film. There was on really good story about
a suicide cult
which was spoiled when
a massive rubber-headed Satan
appeared!

Point Break the remake. Should've Been called Pointless Horseshit. A complete waste of time and the original is far better.

The two options as I see them:
.
1) Remain in the EU, allowing the political and financial elites to continue stealing your money, privatising your public assets and enforcing legislation you neither voted for nor agree with.
.
2) Leave the EU, allowing the political and financial elites to continue stealing your money, privatising your public assets and enforcing legislation you neither voted for nor agree with.

You forgot 3) - Revolution!

Being ruled by Europe is no different to being ruled by a UK Government that you didn't vote for!

One thing I would say about your (John Burdis) comment "immigration is ripping countries apart" you fail to address the fact that it's because of 'our' rulers invading other nations on the bogus pretext of Democracy, when they're really only after the resources of the invaded nations. This has been proven time and time again!
