5) Farscape. At some point I reckon the solitude might threaten to drive me a little crazy, and so the mad genius which is Farscape will be perfect for such times. I'll be able to watch it while I'm spooning frogspawn out of my underpants. sipping moonshine, scrawling wormhole equations over the furniture and listening to the 1812 overture on loop.

Fixed that for you Sharky.

Ha! See you Cosh, I am MAN, I am STRONG I resist your tempting Image sale and I resis... uhhh whats this Boom! sale... DAMNIT, DAMNIT ALL TO HELL!
By Sleipnir's shitey hooves! Now they're having a Marvel one and I bought all those Walt Simonson Thor collections that I keep talking about every time I review an issue of Ragnarok...

I've never read all of Simonson's run and it would seem that I could get the lot for £20... but I am strong... aren't I...

Great minds think alike.
I've never read a chunk of Simonson's Thor run, and this was the perfect opportunity to pick up the lot at a great price.

All round decent-ish Meg for me, Dredd & Angelic taking the top spots.

Interesting tidbit in the TPO update- IDW will be producing new Dredd material with established Dredd creators in 2017.
We already know of John McCrea- I wonder who else?
And they may have some other new 2000AD related material in the works also.

That's welcome news Trent.

Rogue One showed why the Rebellion had such a reduced fleet of ships at the end of A New Hope

Captain Ackbar?
We've got some good news and some bad news, sir.

Back from a viewing myself this evening, still processing it- but overall I enjoyed it.

Terrible idea to have so much screen-time for the CGI
Peter Cushing
, genuinely head scratching that they didn't use Wayne Pygram again.
The Polar Express shouldn't have come to mind, yet it did.

Between this and the recent tributes to Steve Dillon, I'm about ready for Judge Prager to return (again).

Just catching up on a Prog back-log and had to mention how much I enjoyed this brilliant 3 part Dredd tale by the Wyatt & Lynch Droids. It had what I can only describe as a discernible 'classic feel' to it.

A really sharp script- Arthur Wyatt's best Dredd tale to date in my opinion- and Jake Lynch continues to impress the hell out of me.
More from this team please Tharg.

If IDW did a series of What Ifs - you could say it's been that anyway - then it might spark more interest this side of the Atlantic plunge.

Definitely.

I really like both covers, McCrea's version has a distinctly Tony Luke vibe.

There would also be smaller (multi)verses like Dreddverse,Millsverse,EdgingtonVerse;inside the 2000 multiverse. The names could use a bit of work, but you know what I meant. :)

Haven't tried the Resi 7 demo yet but got it downloaded. I've heard nothing but great things about it (big return to form, genuinely scary etc.). Feeling quite hyped but it's made me realize I never played RE6. I really disliked 5 and 6 got worse reviews so decided to dodge it.

RE 6 wasn't nearly as bad as I'd feared, nevertheless I never felt compelled to revisit it for the other two character play-through options (after completing it with just the one).

I really enjoyed RE Revelations 2 - definitely worth a look, not just for completion sake.

Loved A.D. After Death #1,

A dystopian cracker of a comic.

Agreed, probably my single favorite comic of 2016.
A meaty, thought provoking read with beautiful illustration and sequential artwork by Lemire.
This touched an introspective nerve.

I'm with Tordelback Block on this.

You trying to tell me we haven't coined the phrase "Tordel-Block" yet?
Of course our friends are correct Hawk- take your business elsewhere.
Ask around locally for a recommended instructor with a dual control vehicle.

Nasty news there Trent- wishing you a speedy recovery.
