Can sharks creep? If they could, I'd say you were a wee bit of a creepy shark. Z

? Bit random, Zen.

Well done that Squaxx.

Cheers Tordelback!
No doubt you'll enjoy that long awaited visit to Scotland- despite our fellow boarders comments, I've never received any less than a céad míle fáilte in Glasgow.

Goaty- whats the new job?

An enjoyable episode this week.
As Radiator mentions, the twist regarding
Bernard
was well flagged, but I thought it was very nicely executed.

The final scene was brilliant- I knew that
Cullen was dead
as soon as she stepped into that basement.
Murdered by her erstwhile lover while her replacement copy was 3D printed in the background
- a nice touch.
Actually reminiscent to the denouement of a typical 'Saw' film.

As this is officially coming to an end after issue 12, anyone heard any rumours regarding IDW Dredd V3.0?

Desperately trying to avoid spoilers until I catch up with the latest episode tonight, but just read that a 2nd season has been green-lit.

Lets hope the Cylons have an actual plan this time.

(Tarkin looks noticeably younger).

Played by the utterly, utterly brilliant Wayne Pygram (Scorpius from that other Muppet Show spin-off, Farscape).

It seems the fools haven't brought him back for Rogue One.

Whereabouts, if it's not too rude?

Not at all- it's in the beautiful little hillside village of Lacken.
And you're not wrong about the planning topic- an acquaintance was forced to literally knock down her house due to a planning dispute.
The council then re-housed her and her two young children in a housing estate in a nearby town at their expense. You couldn't make it up.

Cheers guys- I know I've some of work, headaches and spoon licking ahead of me, but I'm feeling in the right frame of mind for the challenge- for the moment at least!

Chief concern is of course the construction of a powerful and fully operational Man-cave (code-name 'Guest Bedroom II').

Over a year ago I mentioned that my partner & I bought some land and were planning to build our new home on it.

Well- life is so Drokking fantastic because; The Dreaded Empire Wicklow County Council have just approved final planning permission (finally).
Whats more, our planning application has only cost €5000 (you hear horror stories of up to €20000 around these parts).

I'll admit that I would have liked to be further along the process than just the architect / planning approval stage after a 12 month slog, but it seems these things set their own pace.

It feels great now that we can finally get the ball rolling- I'm relishing the thought of living in one of the most beautiful spots on Earth- perhaps in another 12 months from now!

NB- I fully expect that my next post on the topic won't be in this thread.

It's been a while since I read The Clown- was Boris Johnson in that by any chance?

IIRC, Brit-Cit Brute was created editorially (and I think was inspired by the film Demolition Man) and then farmed out to promising new talent

I heard that story slightly differently, in so far as the strip was called 'Demolition Man' for much of its early development, before the upcoming Stallone film forced a hasty name-change...

Now that you say it, I'm almost certain there was an early promo with the strip actually named as 'Demolition Man'.

I don't recall Jonni Kiss having Judge Newt's badge in his collection- cheers Monarch.

Christ, had I known Rob Williams was packing in Dredd

A shame if its true.
I know the Williams Droid has an increasing workload at DC, but it would have been nice to have him pen a few stories each year.
