Extraordinary.

Here's hoping our Styrofoam chomping overlord has something new lined up for Manco.

My barber said "When did you last get this cut?!?"

Am expecting the same comment from ol' Ed in a few weeks.
Never really had long hair before, but must admit that the 10 second application of a bobbin or clip is pretty handy compared to a 10 minute comb and style.

I think it is Alex Ronald

My first thought was Neil Roberts — Alex's Dredd is a little more... MacNeil-y as a rule.

Roberts to my eye too.

Some further info on the special via ComicHub:

2000 AD Scfi Special 2021 Oneshot
This year's 2000 AD summer special is a Dreddworld issue, featuring a series of interlinked stories starring a host of characters - Judge Dredd meets up with Cursed Earth Koburn in 'Biohazard: by Mike Carroll and Ben Willsher, while over in Oz Chopper is a wanted man in 'Dreamgazer' by David Baillie and Tom Foster, and Armitage seeks out Devlin Waugh in Brit-Cit in 'Natural Fern Killer' by Liam Johnson and Robin Smith. The Rite? The Shite more like.

You expect us to believe you're not just Googling movies that rhyme with shite at this stage??

As for Neil Marshall - he's had a few duds, but The Descent is a modern horror classic that I have re-watched on more than a few occasions.

Glad to hear you're still with us JBC - sounds like a close one.

And a virtual hug for all those middle aged men continuing the eternal struggle against their Twitter enemies.
You gots this, dawg.

I'm thoroughly enjoying the Meg right now but I'm going to miss Megatropolis.

A key strip, far better than anything else in this months Meg.

Might go digital cherry-picking for a few months, until Megatropolis or Dreadnoughts (or a strip of that caliber) returns.

I thought it had been long out of print / unavailable, but I stumbled across Top Shelf's newish printing of Bodycount last week while looking for reading material to placate my new found TMNT appreciation.

The summary: Kevin Eastman & Biz got wasted on Jack Daniels and Class A drugs in the 90's and decided to do an ultra violent team up with Raphael, Casey Jones and a bigger titted version of Terri from ABC Warriors.

It's quite possible to pinpoint when the hangover kicked in - about a third of the way through.

A difficulty book to recommend - something of a sloppy, cliched story with some grubby but vibrant Biz art.
Casey and Raphael seem like different characters than previously portrayed, and don't feature too prominently. It's very, very 90's.

Anyway - for what it's worth - I enjoyed it.

Maybe Niemand is working up to introducing Mega-city's own Super Hero team - The Altruistic 8!

Grendel - Devil's Odyssey 5 - as if having Matt Wagner Grendel wasn't enough to make me immensely happy - this is a great comic from a true master - the after blub goes on to say

Quote"We've got four more issues of Devil's Odyssey to go [including this one], and then there's an equally exciting and unexpected squel series on deck following that."

MORE GRENDEL COMING!!!! Hear my heart sing with joy!

Read this over the weekend, and it was thankfully worth the wait.
The episodic nature of this particular arc didn't really impact the delay between issues 4 and 5, the fact that a long period of time also passed for the Paladin and Sigma 7 helped ease the reader back into the flow.

Lovely, lovely artwork as expected, and a nice flashback to the War Child arc.

More Grendel on the horizon is also very welcome news indeed.

RIP John Paul Leon, far too young.

Enjoyed his work over the years, in particular The Further Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix.
