Well I got your copy of Luther Arkwright issue 1.

Have you played I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream game based on the story by Harlan Ellison? Maybe not a horror game per se, but I had many sleepless nights because of it. It's available again on Steam.

Never read nor played it, but will keep an eye out for both formats.

Never actually read this but the first three pages of Elektra: Assassin have more interesting ideas about how to use a comic page to convey information and tell a story than I can count. It's a far better showcase of the possibilities of the medium than, say, Watchmen.

That first issue of Elektra: Assassin is just astonishing from start to finish. It's hard to remember just how divisive it was at launch... it felt like it was rebuilding much of the underlying stuff that makes comics work and it turned out that quite a lot of people liked their comics safer and cosier than that...

I never read all of it, and found it has always been difficult to get in print, so the new edition hardback purchase was a no-brainer. Arriving in time for the weekend.

Mind if you like Bill Sienkiewicz stuff in Elektra and you haven't read 'Daredevil - Love and War' you should its (almost) as good.

Just a couple of hours into Remothered: Tormented Fathers on the Switch, and enjoying it so far.

Maybe not the same aesthetic, but I find myself reminded of horror games of yore like Manhunt and the original Silent Hill.

As I recall, Ebay and Paypal used to be the same company, but Ebay split it off into a financially distinct entity so that they could charge an extra fee for the (automated) payment process.

Last time I saw Nigel we were chatting and he just casually told me that he'd deleted the files to the commission once completed. I was aghast but he laughed it off and said as far as he was concerned it was the best way to make sure that the single print he did for me was as close as possible to an original page.

His reasoning was that he viewed the piece as work for hire. He completed his part and passed the work to me as the owner to do as I wished.

He was a real gent.

To think that both he and the headliner of this thread are now gone when they were both chatting and sketching away goodo at the 40th event - which incidentally feels like it took place only a month ago - is just too sad.

If I've damaged a body part on a pistachio I tend to throw that pistachio back.  Plenty more nuts in the sea.
