I'm not sure where the phrase originates from, but Its used by londoners quite a lot to describe Jamacan gangsters (or wannabe gangsters), generally not particularly nice people, and NO I wasn't using it in a derogatory manner, it's just a figure of speech used to describe people who are unpleasant NOT by thier race, but by thier actions/attitudes towards others. BTW whats a tuachter ?

Sin/dex after Eurocrash/Downlode tales. Whilst I dont hate it with the vehemence other boarders do, I do think Sin/Dex has ran out of steam a little.

I thought Sylvester McCoy was ok as the doctor, its not so much he was badly cast as he appeared at a time when the show was being ritually executed by the bbc because theyd sooner spend thier cash on populist shite like Eastenders than on "expensive" shows like doctor who.

Star trek - massivly overated, liked the original and most of TNG but after that it just leaves me cold - its just such a bland PC vision of the future and takes itself way, way too seriously.

Ground zero in my home town of Mansfield was a perfect comic shop, run by two lovely chaps called Paul and Stu, back when i lived there I used to go into the shop and just hang out for hours on end chatting to Paul, Stu and other regular customers, it was more of a social club than a comic shop, and Dan Abnett used to hang out in there as it was his local comic shop also.

FP in Nottingham, whilst being a good shop choice wise, yet again had staff you just wanted to punch in the gonads, especially the manager who was this obnoxious eastern european midgit, I used to go in there for 2 hour stetches just standing there reading books and mags and then not buy anything just to piss him off and give him a sarcastic "thank you" on my way out, he once said to me "this place isn't a library you know" - total arsehole, I hope his precious "career" hasn't nosedived since I last went there in about 94.

Its just a pity his "helmet" had to "go off".
