My goodness, Mr Cosh- what a rude little man you are.

What I actually think (as opposed to what your hysterical hissy fit seems to indicate) is that if the pensions system isn't working, then public sector workers should no more be guaranteed their pension than anyone else.  I certainly don't see that my council tax should be paying for it.

As you obviously weren't reading properly in the first place, I'll explain the situation to you again.  I am unable to leave the country as my wife doesn't want to- otherwise I'd be more than happy to sail off into the sunset, leaving people like you far, far behind.

I suppose you're one of the imbeciles that think the proposed compulsory tracking- and (extra) taxing- of all cars (without first bothering to put in a decent public transport system) is a good thing as well...

And that ludicrously high council tax you're already paying?  Over a quarter of it is actually spent on public sector pensions.  All wrong.

It's just fucking crazy- we're about to be taxed to the hilt for driving our cars (a supposedly 'green' tax- my hairy arse), but try to do something that genuinely helps the environment and guess what?  You get taxed again.

Hurrah!

Seriously- if Mrs Jones wasn't so attached to her family, I'd be off like a shot.  We're governed by morons.

Ah well- I went for the D78 anyway.  I'll probably only ever use it to write pleading letters to the bank...

Cheers lads.  Ironically, I had an HP for about eight years that I constantly bemoaned as being shit (despite the fact that it never actually failed to print anything).  The Epsom that I replaced it with (having always wanted an Epsom) has lasted about five minutes!

Long story short- mine's farked.  Any recommendations for a replacement?  Must be Mac compatable and I don't really need anything bigger than A4 (although that's not to say I wouldn't have one if the price was right).

Cheers.

"Who thinks Origins could have been better?"

My goodness- have I overslept again?  Has it finished already without my realising it?

My mistake.  What I should've said was "why do fat guys squeeze themselves into outfits that were designed for slim sci-fi/fantasy characters, when the end result is always the same?  i.e. people point and laugh at them" (which, personally speaking, I would find humiliating- no matter how much I enjoyed the initial dressing up).

Does that work better for you?

Seriously- why do people insist on humiliating themselves in this way?

Ahhh... good old 'Orange Man'.

"It's all there in the Bible- you just have to jumble up the words a bit."  Class.

Siadwell hasn't aged well then?  That was always the best bit for me...
