"Two quid?  You can stick it up your arse for nothing and you can f*ck off while you're doing it..."

Still makes me laugh.

You big fat liar, Bart- you told me that you go somewhere like that *every* year...

;)

The Sopranos.  I've no doubt whatsoever that it's brilliant- I've just never watched it, so I don't get it.  At all.

Unbelievably, Ulysses 31 ended after he successfully returned his crew to life and they set off back for Earth.

I kept waiting for that ever tedious moment when the Gods would punish Ully at the last second, leaving him to shout, "Oh curse you, Gods of Olympus, why do you torment me so?", while shaking his fist at a lightning filled sky (as had happened in virtually every episode prior to this one).

Only it didn't happen.  The credits rolled and that was the last we saw of Ulysses, the Oddessy, and that fucking annoying robot.

I gave up on the others and have no idea how they ended.

I should've put a bet on 'Bohemian Rhapsody' being the Christmas #1 after Freddie Mercury carked it.  They hadn't re-released it at that point and nobody had even mentioned it- but I had a feeling that they would and that it'd scupper all the usual Chrimbo drivel that gets released.

"Yes, that's right.  I want to put a hundred pounds on 'Bohemian Rhapsody', by 'Queen', being this year's Christmas #1.  Yes, I know it hasn't even been re-released.  Odds of a thousand to one, you say? I'll take them..."

How pissed off was I when (surprise, surprise) they not only re-released the bugger, but that it did indeed beat off everything else to become the Chrimbo #1?

Very.

If he was sat on your doorstep, you should have taken the opportunity to empty your chamberpot over his head.  Or a vat of boiling oil- whichever you think is more appropriate.
