Ah!  Screw ups!  You have to smile- been having a problem with prog 1339 myself...

As I only ever used to pick my progs up once every other month or so, I was about six weeks too late in realising that I had two 1340s instead of '39 and '40.

I brought this to the attention of the comic shop guy- who kindly ordered me another issue in.  Eventually, I got around to collecting my next lot- along with the re-ordered 1339- only to find that it was 1340.  Again.

Next time I went in, I had no progs at all- never mind my missing 1339- and decided to subscribe in future- which I duly did.  Thinking that I'd kill two birds with one stone, I asked the nice lady at the subs dept if she could sort me out with the missing 1339 and she very kindly arranged for me to get it free of charge (As I was taking out a subscription).

Finally- I thought- I can read that Cabalistics adventure properly.

Sadly, my free prog was- yes, you guessed it- 1340.

I just don't have the will to ask again...

Cover- excellent.

Dredd- entertaining.  Don't like PJ's helmets (sorry), but do like the lapel badges.

Future Shock- liked it, despite guessing the ending by panel four.

SinDex- not read it properly- will read the whole lot in one sitting- love SD's art though.  Am I the only person who doesn't hate it?

From Grace- you know how hard it is to look at the art and not read the story?!?  Again- want to enjoy it in one sitting.

Leviathan- Pattern forming here- saving it for the big read.  Which truth be told, is why I hardly ever contribute to anything that's on topic!

Is it just me- or are we going through an extraordinarily good patch at the moment?

Cheers.

I only saw the very last bit with all the hacking and the stabbing and the killing and then there was a mirror and a ghost and the millenium wheel.  Which confused somewhat.

I'd had a few though.

Billy Farmer!  Used to buy Buster for those two pages alone!

I think Mike White might have done the art chores for a while- but it's just as likely that my mind's playing tricks with me.

Von Scott, you sly old dog- kept that bugger quiet!  Congrats.

Don't think that you can duck out of your Solar Wind duties though...

Not if you have man-boobs.  If you're sculpted like a Greek Adonis, that's grounds for ejection as well, you smug git!

I dunno.  I just think that killfiling (except in the face of deliberate trolling) is a bit feeble- especially here.

If I killed everybody wh..

Woah!  Check out *that* Freudian slip!

If I killfiled everybody who's views irritated me, I'd have missed quite a few good discussions by now.  Either way, I'd still rather know if I was in a killfile or not.  Personal preference.

That said, I was a bit gutted to find myself in Arthur Wyatt's killfile once- until I remembered that he was only three foot six and then I felt much better...

I only heard about this today as I was away on my hols.

I don't mind being in a killfile, but I'd much rather know who's killfile I'm in so that I don't have to bother talking to some two faced dick head the chat room.

Sorry- but I like to know exactly where I stand with people.

I was working in a comic shop at the time and wanted to buy it when it came in, but

a) you had to paint it yourself if you wanted it to look anywhere near as good as what was on the box.

b) I couldn't possibly embarrass myself by telling you how little I was actually paid for my time there- but needless to say I couldn't afford to part with the cash.
