Interesting.

Do you think Dolman and Fargo share a similar mindset? Perhaps the closest?

News / Re: Massimo- news?

Little late in adding my condolences- heart felt sympathies go out to all of Massimo's nearest and dearest.

I'll be adding the finishing touches to a tribute drawing Sunday, right after some tails and balloons..

That's Ian Gibson's Dredd from the CF1 cover- I was informed else where on the board by *sorry, fellow boarder's name escapes me* that they use the first cover image as a place holder(?) pre-publishing.

So when it comes to print it should be a clipping from one of the stories inside from an artist that hasn't already featured yet, though I could be wrong- page for page there's alot of material by Ron Smith there in.

Memorable, iconic Dredds I hope to see grace this cover and the next CFs are Steve Dillon, Brendan McCarthy and John Higgins..

Depending on screen vs print, I'd say that's cyan rather than light blue, we'll see ;)

++ Now Pink is the colour of certain candies, Flamigoes and Pink Ladies. ++

Umpty Candy?

ThryllSeekyr, this is one issue where we'll have to agree to disagree ;)

My only really criticism of the colour choices made so far is that the indigo / navy blue(?) of CF4 is a little to close in tonal value to the blk, that aside IMHumbleO it's good repro of the content that matters most in this series.

As for cover artist for CF8, I'm hoping Dillon's Dredd might make an appearance this time.

Do you know who's Dredd will feature on the front?

Camel- LoL

I got my copy pretty much the moment it was available at my local.

Truth be told I like it. If I'd been presented a handful of pink-ish Pantone swatches I'd have probably gone for that shade as well ;)

I also like the fact that the overall template for the series has been paired down to just essential text and image in two colours. It's bold, balanced, minimal and presuming it's spot colour, inexpensive to produce.

What's next? Lime, teal, cyan, salmon or mauve?

Yeah, not what I was expecting either, hence the 'WTF'.

Not sure I liked it.. all.

++ Did the bit with Sam on the roof of the police station in "2007" remind anyone else of the end of Open Your Eyes? ++

If you've not read Brubaker and Philips 'Sleeper' and want to, stop reading now-

Both seem to finish in a similar manner.
