I was secretly hoping the heavily veiled high priestess would turn out to be the Rani. Maybe next time eh?

I meant to finish by saying I was given a clutch of Denny Crockett MP3s a couple of years ago and all the Ulysses 31 tracks sound like they've been taken from original VT and or that French release.

Memory fails me (again).

Could anyone tell me what the animals (you know, the ones that look like alien camels) Johnny and Wulf ride around on are called?

Cheers!

No, you're not alone.

I stopped and thought I was doing pretty well- a month, five weeks give or take, cig free and still living with a dyed-in-the-wool-twenty-a-dayer.

Then about a month ago I lost one of my closest, long standing friends unexpectedly and without thinking the first thing I did after receiving the news was reach for the ciggies.

Been back on'em since then. 5-10 a day, not at work though, evenings only.

I given myself another stop date- my birthday, which just so happens to be the Saturday at Bristol this year.

++ Wonder if they'll have a Judge mutie division at some point? ++

Texas City has or rather had it's Mutie Irregulars.

The Missionary Man Preacher Cain's loyal companion Resurrection Joe served with the Irregulars at some point before their first meeting.

I've always liked the idea that the Mutie Irregulars were formed during the civil war between the Union of MC1 & MC2 and Texas City (MC3) as a way of swelling troop numbers- that the Texas City Justice Dept offering pardons or citizenship or something to Badlands folk if they took up arms on their behalf.

It ties in neatly enough with the Mutie Clearances that take place years later during Dredd's brief stop over in TC on the Judge Child Quest.

Is it time there was a complete MM collection?

*Just* about everyone I know has had some sort of compatibility problem with 10.5 and a piece of existing software or hardware.

I only recently started to run 10.4.11 on both of my G4s. Both have multiple partitions (or volumes) on their drives for specific uses like Photoshop scratch and iTunes storage and I keep a disc image of the last complete install in three different places for emergencies.

The official line at work is that they won't be making the switch until the start of the new academic year in September.

TBH I can't see it happening even then.

Until Apple and the majority of third party developers can get their respective acts together it doesn't matter how whistles-and-bells advanced Leopard is, IMHumbleO it's still a posh looking dog's breakfast.

This may very well be a bit late in the day, but I've always gone to Macinstruct  and MacRumours for advice and directions, with versiontracker coming in very handy for third party freeware etc.
