Henry's work is the sole reason for me buying the longest run of consecutive progs since I got back into 2k.

When we (LMS, JEBs and myself) found him at a stall in Bristol sketching like mad with a waist high stack of soon-to-be published pages all going for a song (15 GBP or there abouts) you couldn't help but admire the guy even more than before..

More power to yer elbow Mr. Flint.

A character intended for (or from) Marshall Law?

Though I've read most, but not all- I cannot recall ;)

++ tone board ... There's thin blue non repo lines on the paper that turn brown/black on contact with water. ++

What an excellent invention that was.

Is it still being manufactured?

Can you get it from the same place that supplies your Letratone Rufus?

++ Can't find 2k in a Smiths ++

Not saying that it isn't stocked, just that I can't find it- they've changed how the magazines are ordered three times in as many(?) months.

In Borders 2k has been located in the same place (touches wood) since they more or less opened.

If you're picking up the prog before work or in your lunch hour you want to do that as quick as you can with minimum fuss..surely?

After reading Moose's post I'd say the British market may just effectively lose WHS entirely sooner than 2k.

Can't find 2k in a Smiths, can always find it in a Borders (or the local FP for that matter) and visa versa.

If the availability of 2k becomes a real concern there's always subs.

As for Rich Johnson's alarmist article- just remember that he needs to fill his column inches with *something* that resembles news each week.

All the jewellery has gone apart from a silver sleeper in nose.

Once I started work with SLDD students, some of whom are diagnosed psychotic and sometimes liable to lash out I was advised to take the rings out.
