Once again, big ups to Chuffsteruk!

Like many around here, I'm old enough to remember all the hype from the other Judge Dreddish movie and the slowly growing sinking feeling when I read trade sheets and saw photos "Of course the helmet has to come off - it's Stallone", "I'm in charge and if anyone says different, I'll stab their eyes out", Rob Schneider, golden codpieces etc.

This time around, it is nothing but positive from my POV (sure I was disappointed when I saw the launch date the other day, but that was out of love), Wagner is happy, we have real writers and directors, Urban looks great and Anderson could cuff me any day.

Inasmuch as certain haters continue to vent their bullshit I seriously doubt it'll have any effect on the box office and absolutely no effect on the quality of the movie which this far is looking fricken amazing.

And I don't know how certain haters can physcially type what with all the masturbating they've done over their own fanfic.

EDIT: Still too excited to type coherently.

Spotted the news on imdb this morning as 2000AD forums were jammed for some reason (thrill power overload perhaps?), so here is a morning's worth of thoughts on the subject:

1. Chuffsteruk - you are the hero of the fucking month, if not the year.
2. The photos. Just frickin' awesome. Am so excited for this.
2.a Dredd: Love it, looks damned awesome, can't wait.
2.b Alvarez should be renamed Giant - just uncanny.
2.c They've nailed Anderson (and oh how I'd love to...)
3. Need to get to the store and buy a copy of Empire this week.
4. Urban movies - check out Out of Blue about the Aramoana Massacre in NZ.
