Almost finished The Road by Cormac McCarthy.

Bleak, disturbing and very readable.

Let's take a moment to remember that though Carlos is gone, the impact that he made on all of us is not and that the work that he started continues.

As a kiwi, there are times when I am very glad to be about as far away from Europe as possible.

What I would like to see is someone coming up with definitive proof as to what Putin has over Trump, (business deals and dodgy goings on with prostitutes aside). With the bashing of Nato and cozying up to Russia, Putin has the perfect agent friend in Trump.

Well, if anyone was on the fence about IDW Dredd and fancied dipping a toe, grab the current Humble Bundle. For $15, you get pretty much everything, from what I can tell, along with a smattering of Rebellion content. For $1, you still get the superb Mars Attacks vs Dredd, year One, Urban Warfare, Cry of the Werewolf, and Origins, along with two volumes of the Swierczynski-penned Dredd, one volume of Mega-City Zero, and the Funko one-shot.

(Notable also that the sole Case Files in the mix is vol. 5. Very smart choice.)

Thanks for the heads up, jumped on this one...

Amazon really are useless. I ordered four Kindles and they sent me a Two Ronnies dvd.

Bloody hell, took me a minute, but damn that is funny!

Grim Dawn

A great example of a Diablo RPG with a little steampunk thrown in. Well worth the very modest price.

The Back to the Future trilogy.

Watched it with my 8 year old son (his first time) over the weekend.

It still holds up, genuinely funny moments and a few tense moments here and there. A couple of shonky FX shots and a lot of swearing - every time someone said 'shit', 'son of a bitch' or 'bastard', my son would look at me and say 'but it's still a PG!'.
Definitely worth watching again, maybe with a kids eyes.

Yep  - I bought a 3D telly just to watch Dredd 3D on it.  The 3D in it is far better than watching the same film in the cinema.  For a start there's much less ghosting (ethereal double images), the picture is crisp, and there appears to be a greater depth of field.

So you're in fopr a treat basically.

Make sure you get the seat middle front though, as most 3D telly's don't work that well if you're viewing from too far to the left or right.

Wow I respect your  dedication to Dredd! This will be my first go around with a 3D TV so im pretty excited! Ill try to grab a central seat too

I must say that my copy of Dredd 3D was damned expensive, but it did come with a TV and blu ray player!

Watching it at home was definitely better - TV centred and angled correctly, 5.1 speakers and the kids at a neighbours house.

So this is out there and looks bloody good. "Art Figures AF-015 1/6th scale Heavy Armoured Special Cop "DREDD" 12-inch figure"

If bootleggers can make money with awesome action figures, why aren't there any licensed ones?

Didn't read the first 46 pages (late to the party), but only just realised that Johnny Alpha must of course be the best S/D agent because he is the Alpha Dog!

Can't believe I missed that one...
