Aw, that's really cool James. I'm sitting in my local, half pissed, watching my beloved Sunderland playing shite and getting walloped by Fullam and that magnificent image has made it all better. Merry Christmas fella!

QuoteOh, can anyone identify the cover artist for Prog 2010? I'll have to write a grovelly email to'em and can't work out who it is. Christ Weston perhaps?

Hey, he's a good artist but I think you're going a bit far with the praise there.

Ha ha! That flipping advent calendar is getting to me!

Aw Steve, that's mental!

Here we go:

Cover: Fantastic. I'd love to see a Neil Roberts' strip but I guess that'll never happen! EDIT - No mucky comments you lot!

Dredd: Extremely cool. As others have commented, it's great seeing Dredd and Rico working together and the location of the shootout this issue is fantastic. By the way, the Dredd in the Megazine is absolutely ace this month, worth the price of the Meg alone.

Dirty Devils - A very silly first page and fairly exposition heavy final pages. It was fun seeing what Satan was amusing himself with (is that hand grabbing a minge-boob on the extreme left of page 2?) while Uriel was away and interesting to see Cythia's fate. I'm quite happy for more of this tale in the future...

Slaine - A really variable episode. Why has Slaine turned so thick lately? He seems to fall for every trick presented to him. The dialogue on the last page was ropey as owt too!

Future Shock
- Loved it! Such a creepy idea with an enjoyable twist. Tops.

Sinister Dexter
- A talking heads episode with further set up to all out war. I love it, but I want them to get on with it!

Back cover - Beautiful! Go on, open the prog up and look at the front and back covers side to side, pure thrillpower!

Oh, can anyone identify the cover artist for Prog 2010? I'll have to write a grovelly email to'em and can't work out who it is. Christ Weston perhaps?

It's fine Kerrin, 721 x 1018 pixels so most folk sshould be okay with that. It really is a great pic - 'Hondo Sushi' and 'Sumps Pimplemania Extra,' class!

Oh that's nasty Kerrin, but I love it! Let's hope it's Prancer, eh? I've heard he's a right dick.

Well done sir!

Merry Christmas fella!

I did a blog post about this and the folks at Mongoose were kind enough to send me the covers for the first three books. They we're very keen to stress that these books aren't aimed at the RPG market but are 'information tomes' in their own right.

For that reason, I'm gonna give 'em a try.

Bah, I got a message from Carlos to say that he didn't do the cover of Prog 4, oops! Might have to change that tonight...

Great stuff, thanks for sharing Darren!

QuotePete, while you are in touch with Carols, can you ask how the art duties are split with regard to Hector?

I'm thinking that Hector actually inks Carlos now, but can you ask for us, pleeease?

I asked him and he said thusly:

QuoteAbout my son, yes, he's inking my artwork, you can notice as he's cleaner than me...

Cheers Jonny, sorted that unfortunate typo now!

As for Dredd holding his dinkle, in my head I had him leaping at the 'camera' almost like Spiderman. Once it was done though, I twigged straight away that it looked indecent but I was just eager to get the bloody thing finished. Hmmm, perhaps after his ten minutes in the sleep machine, Joe just has morning wood?
