Man, the Komics-Live is brilliant!!!

One thing, is there any way, other than the obvious, of getting a bit more out of Rapidshare? It's so frustraing getting bombed out by them all the time!

Help! / Decent alternative to Demonoid?
18 November, 2007, 05:27:45 PM
Dammit I feel totally lost without Demonoid to get my daily quota of strange and illegal stuff. It sucks that the CRIA have had it closed down.

Which other torrent sites can boarders recommend where one can acquire the latest stuff for research purposes before buying*?

* I hope that looks more convincing than it sounds in my head!

You bastards! I've ordered the above piece of artwork now so at least one of my relatives will probably have to go without a Christmas prezzie. You really are a bunch of selfish gits.

This page is currently on eBay for £60 and you get a canny view of Dredd face too. If it hasn't gone by pay day I'm getting it (that's a cry for help by the way, somebody else please buy it 'cos I can't stop meself!)http://www.silveracre.com/auctions/2007/nov/art/ART1611/DSC00039.JPG">

Jim Baikie did a couple of cheeky Dredds too. Certainly in The Hitman story just after Oz (see below - I own that page, hooray!) we see lots of Dredd's eye.

Also, he almost showed Dredd's face in 'In the Bath' (though thankfully we didn't see Dredd's third eye in this strip!) This has to be one of my favourite stories ever. Dredd apprehends two perps without even getting out of the bath! All while thinking about is future in the Justice Dept. and sowing the seeds for Necropolis. Funny, poignant and significant all at once, Wagner truly is the king!http://www.comicartfans.com/Images/Category_7767/subcat_47466/balkie.jpg">

Am I right in thinking what I own here is a "copy" of Brashill's artwork hand coloured by Dondie Cox?

Yeah that's right. I've got a few pages from that stip both inks and coloured, I love Brashill's work. This 'un is my favourite:http://www.comicartfans.com/Images/Category_7767/subcat_26389/brashill%20mutant.jpg">

Three luvverly pages there Ed. My brother owns the inks for that Jason Brashill page, it's nice to know who's got the painted version!

Going back to the production notes 'debate', it really makes my blood boil. You can see that an artist has put hours and hours and hours of work into a piece then some sloppy sod comes along and just scrawls 'Reduce to 180mm' in biro. It just seems a bit disrespectful to me.

Lovely that Ed!

Does it piss you off that there's writing all over it? I've got some lovely pieces that have got biro, yes biro all over the margins. Sheesh, it drives me mad!!!
