Here's my woefully unoriginal bunch, many of which I know have aged terribly:
The Preacher Series - Never have I cared about a relationship in a comic so much.
The Sin City books - 'Cos you feel like you're actually 'in' the story with the narrator. When a character blacks out, you black out with them for a couple of pages, it's wonderful story telling of wonderful twisty turny stories! Plus the art is generally mesmurising.
From Hell - Fascinating and 'orrible all at the same time! By far my favourite Moore book. I know some people think the annotations are pompous but I likes 'em!
Judge Dredd Mega Collection - There's nothing like those Saturday Daily Star Dredds by Wagner, Grant and Smith to get across the tone, imagination and wit of Dredd's world. All Dredd writers should be forced to read this twenty before having a go at the character!
Dredd: America - The first printing (i.e. not the 'complete' version with the sub standard America 2) wrapped in MacNeil's wonderful cover is a beautiful book from start to finish.
