Messages - Pete Wells

Just back from it with Mrs Pete and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The jokes were REALLY funny (
Jackson Pollack painting!?!
) and the characters were really likeable. I loved the tone of the film, whenever it got overly cheesey or started to take itself too seriously you'd get a crackers joke or a totally misplaced song.

A hoot!

Hew pet, ah'm back awa heeah noo!

I haven't read the piece on Jake's cover yet but I've seen it on my phone and it looks yummy. That article will save me a job but I WILL have to link to it - my OCD demands it! I ain't missed a cover in five years and I'm not gonna now  :D

I'm waiting on Neil Roberts for this weeks' beauty, but from what I understand he's crackers busy at the minute though. I'm very much looking forward to making up his reference photos if he doesn't send any...

Secondly, I don't think anyone has really come to terms with the fact that Fargo hates the Justice Dept.

I assumed the whole Mutant Issue addressed this, still there may be life left in it...

Yup, that cover is a beaut! With regards to Dredd, I'm surprised you're all taking Knight at face value. I don't trust her at all...

Took the litt'lun to see this yesterday as were both fans of the original. It was fucking aces, dead good story, beautiful graphics, awesome Godzilla style battles and a nice message to boot. There was even a bit where I er... got something in my eye.

Recommended for those with bairns!

BTW It's Sylvia Plath, not Cynthia. And I took you for a poetry fan Pete...  :)

Oh dear! How queer! That's shitty, shitty news that I do hear!
I shall log, onto my blog, and put the bastard right, never fear!

See? Poetry is in my soul.

No compliments for Walter, to me he is the Scrappy Doo of the Dredd universe.

Thankfully though, I'm really enjoying Droid-mentia Walter - "I put a bed sock in your omelette" was one of the funniest lines ever!

Cut to overly big picture:
