I got zero votes last month, I'm going for negative figures this month. Please remember that when voting!

It might not be Dredd overkill you have to worry about but Pineapples overkill. Here's my effort, one of my favourite moments ever in 2000AD history, Transvestite Joe - The original panel was so cool it was used as the prog cover, I can't think of another that has done that... :

Pete Wells improved version...

Apologies...

I must admit, I try and outdo the 2000AD cover line every week. I liked OAP RPG on the prog this week though...

Neil Roberts' stonking cover is up. As he sadly didn't send any reference pictures this time I made my own, I hope he doesn't mind. Check the blog to see it...

My fingers are crossed for Sideshow or Hot Toys. Neca would be cool too...

Can there be a special prize for an entry that didn't get a single vote? Not a single frigging vote, not even an honourary mention, even when people were doing five or six HMs! Surely that's a first?

I'm assuming it's 'cos I spelled Nikolai wrong and not 'cos I'm shit at art. Bastards. Sob!

Well done to the winners, but it's the taking part that counts!

I love that cover and have been a fan of pretty much all Neil's efforts - my faves being his ABC's, Dirty Frank and this cooler than cool Savage one:

What I dearly love though is he always sends me his reference photos for my blog and some of them are hilarious! So, as a fun little game, can you match the reference picture to the cover, you can use Barney or my blog to help...

1)      2)    3)

4)     5)

You can see more here: http://2000adcovers.blogspot.co.uk/search?q=Neil+Roberts

I wonder what he sends for this weeks' cover? A picture of him sitting on a high chair?

Right, I've revised my initial thoughts on this game, it's fucking brilliant! I'm loving planning my attacks using CCTV and escaping the cops by hacking traffic lights and blowing gas mains, however it's my current mission that's got me so excited. Why?

Well, I'm currently in a dilapidated, gang-filled city block fighting my way to the top to get the gang boss. Or to quote a certain movie trailer "To take down an Empire... He has to go... All the way up!" Yep, at the minute, this feels like a triple A game version of Dredd. It's glorious!

Very, very highly recommended!

Yeah, I've had a few days with this now and it's very cool. Jumping from camera to camera to plan your strategy is great as is hacking various parts of the environment to intimidate the bad guys - it has a real Arkham series feel here.

The car chases are extremely enjoyable, making bollards shot up from the floor to stop my persuers, raising bridges and exploding gas pipes under the road never gets old and makes for some thrilling moments.

As James said, it's initially daunting but I'm getting to be quite the hacker now and it's cool as fuck! Right, back to it...
