Congrats on finally getting to see it!

Really not sold on 3D, and usually avoid it like the plague, but i reckon at least one of my visits to see Dredd is gonna have to be in 3D, now.

Prog / Re: Prog 1791: The End

Oh lordy, just read this weeks Dredd.
Im at a loss for words, regarding this one. Did somebody say ridiculous? Yep, that about sums it up.
1947 - Enjoyed this strip a lot, and id love to see some more of this story, but freed from the constraints of the 3rillers format, please.
Didnt really care for the Future Shock. These lastest ones, havent grabbed me at all. Sorry.
Ichabod, still puzzled by this, but still liking it.

...and Dante, comes to an end, -
and regarding the ending, guess he's going out the way he came in?
Those that have read, and enjoyed this strip from the begining, will have a keener sense of loss, than i do, but ill miss this. Though, at least i have the trades/back issues to search out and immerse myself in.

All-in-all though, a bit of a so-so Prog this week.

The Art of Judge Dredd
http://www.forbiddenplanet.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=71689

Is this in addition to the 2000ad covers book, or same thing?

For over 35 years, 2000 AD has dominated the British comics' industry, delivering stories and characters which have etched their way into the cultural psyche. This book celebrates 2000 AD and Judge Dredd's joint 35th-anniversary with a compilation of the most stunning and innovative Judge Dredd-related covers, illustrated by some of the greatest talents in the industry.

Rebellion, hardback, 272 pages, published September 2012

So looking forward to this, hope we get to see a couple of preview pages at some point though.

A big reason to migrate to this place was promises that a certain mad-man isn't welcome here ;) By the way, I'v heard he's been mentioned in a prog in some way, know which one?

Blimey, i didnt realise Pete Wells was Scojo, so thats why your all mean to him  ;)

Now then, and welcome Borntohula!

I reckon THIS picture could do wonders for positively advertising the film. I'm sure loads of newspapers and sites would publish it.

Now, wouldnt that be summat!

Aye, RIP Mr Borgnine. So many great films.
Caught this on the radio this morning (Chris Moyles is a big Black Hole fan, apparently!).

Is it true Prometheus is the first of three films?

There's been talk. From the various interview's Ridleys given, he, and others, seem keen to carry it on. I suspect this was the plan all along.
Guess we'll have to wait til the bean counters have done their job. I'd be very suprised if we didnt get a sequel, though.
