£2,150 now, and four days left to run...

I know what you mean, Eddie. It's a whole lot of money, isnt it. And I cant justify spending that amount either. I'd have gone close (+/-) to a grand on this, but the big hitters are in play now...

Just a thought; I wonder if Darryl from Silveracre is chasing this? That money for the Hell's Highway pages will come in handy, if so!  ;)

And Hell's Highway was a great tale. And even greater art. I'd given thought to snagging those pages, and kinda wish I had now.

I asked on the facebook page and apparently the next book is Day of Chaos: Fourth Faction

Nice one! Looking forward to seeing the DoC come out in the Mega collection. If it's 2 books, and that would seem to be the case, then I guess there wouldn't be a long gap before they released the 2nd?  So, Endgame to follow directly after Fourth Faction?

That is quite something. Quite something indeed.
The only droid to make Slaine interesting for me. Mr Davis is most definitely a bit special.

As for whether it's better than MM2. They are different, and I like them both. But if forced to choose, I'd probably go with MM2 simply because it blew me away at such a young age. Whilst Fury Road did blew me away, I'm too old now for it to have that lasting effect that a movie does when you are young... Or am I? Time will tell, I guess :)

Good post, SB. And yes, it's grand when something new comes along and blow's you away.
For me, not a lot does now, but that makes it all the more sweeter, when it does. Cant beat a new, and unexpected 'instant fave'.

Super keen to see this, and i'd meant to see it last Saturday, but a friends birthday needed to be celebrated, so that put paid to that. Hopefully this coming weekend, if not sooner..

Yes, 2K is madness (and still time left on the clock) but if I had the funds spare, i'd be sorely tempted.

I did throw a good few bids at this, and was even in the lead on several occasions, but alas I must now go back to day-dreaming that no-one else had seen this, and so I won it for next to nowt...  :)

I'm sure the people who were on the 'print run' or involved in the pulping of the comic must of helped themselves to a few issues?  Though how many survived as interest waned and the years went by and in what condition they are now can only be guessed at.

I think this is closer to the truth, or at least makes more sense to me, as we'll probably never know how many copies still exist. But I doubt a multitude of these will now start appearing..

Day of Chaos will presumably also get two books apiece.

Would dearly love to see the DoC collected into a single volume.
And with the Michael Carroll 'Downtime' episode re-instated.

In terms of page count, its the longest Dredd epic, but if Block Mania/Apocalypse War can fit into a single release...

. . . You already know it's going to be in 2 books!

Do I?

Remember . . . . the discussion about the covers? In the pub??

Yes, I remember that. Didn't realise it was for two books, though.
Hope that means it's not a straight reprinting of the existing trades. Keen to read the Dead Zone tale from the Meg. Be nice to have that included.

Not as yet, apparently. But I imagine that'll be revealed soon. Just for an idea; Anyone like to guesstimate a price for this? Fairly pricey? Not too bad?

But a lovely looking figure, and 100% McMahon. Very interested in this. And we also have the Planet Replica Dredd coming soon as well (slightly delayed from it's March/April release date..).

Fan's of Mick's Dredd are being well served of late.

Lovely copy of the last unpublished violent copy of Action - only 30 printed. Amazing that 'Suicide' is printed three times on the cover!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Action-comic-23rd-Oct-1976-ULTRA-RARE-ISSUE-30-copies-printed-FN-phil-comics-/271876254428?

Wow! That's lovely, isn't it.
Feel sorry for those folks that had letters, and drawings printed in that issue.. Least, they can see their handiwork now..

£510.00, at the minute. Wonder what it'll reach in just over 8 days time..

Some lucky so-and-so over on CAF recently posted up the original art for the cover.

Now, I wasn't the biggest fan of Dark Justice, but this art is simply stunning.

If Judge Child is 163 pages (thanks Barney) what else could be packaged up with this issue?

To complete the tale, City of the Damned (93 pages) and not forgetting 'In the year 2120' (24 pages) from prog 1077.

That would be about 280 pages in total. Too much of a stretch for one book?

Yes, great to see these pop up the other day. Especially pleasing was the response from the fans.
