Another lover of Lone Wolf and Cub here. Amazing series.

On an off tangent, is it wrong that I really want to read Amethyst: Princes of Gem World from DC. It looks so stupid and cheesy I just can't say no. That Showcase collection looks quite hefty and classy for a tenner as well....

Personaly I don't care if people disliked it. That's their opinion and they can have it. What I do care is wether these opinions can be supported in a logical way, rather than none-sensicle ramblings.

What confounds me is why you'd watch a clearly violent R/18 movie and then complain about its violence.
This is what makes my tits sour. And I hear it all the time. Problem is is that Dredd reflects the issues with violence and the effects it has a lot more realistically than any of the watered down PG-13/12A twaddle weave been served recently, with no consequences being present at all.

Go Nagai's series seem to finally being serialised outside of Japan with both Devilman and Mazinger Z being released in Italy earlier this year. Hopefully this mean's we'll be seeing them here soon....

I actualy only have the one Dante TPB. The UK edition of The Romanov Dynasty which I got a few months ago for something crazy cheap from the same guys I got the £1 Red Sea's collection from. I won't bother with the rest sadly due to lack of uniformality and scarceness of 2 and 3. An Omnibus edition similar to the Casefiles or The Walking Dead compendium would be bliss.

Blood on Satan's Claw. Maybe a bit overhyped, I thought it was just okay.
I've always viewed it that way. It's a good film, but not a patch on Witchfinder General and The Wickerman or Don't Look Now. The best of british horror.

I've said it before but id buy them in a heartbeat. It's only not heralded as a the best thing 2000ad has ever done because it isn't advertised that way. :)
This completely. Dante is IMHO the best thing to grace the prog.

Not at all. Halloween 3 Season of the Witch is actually my favourite instalment in the series. I watched it last night once again for a double bill with ZFE.

That is just adorable. You are the greatest father to those two little cadets.

I'm currently watching a double bill of Halloween III : Season of the Witch (the greatest in the series IMHO) and Zombie Flesh Eater as I didn't see the latter in the cinema last night.
