I have finally seen MOON

Best sci-fi movie in ........maybe ever?

Sam Rockwell and also Sam Rockwell is a treat.

But my favourite?

Girty the robot.

Moon was on tv over Xmas and I was really impressed with it. Wasn't something I was particularly interested in seeing before that. Had an 'old style' sci fi feel to it like 2001: A Space Odyssey.

When I have discussed it with people since, they seem to either love it or thought it was really boring and switched off halfway through!

Moon is a great film, but I can understand why some people would switch it off as it's a proper science fiction film and not science fantasy.

They can stop after they've made a Dredd sequel and a Calvin & Hobbes film.

This day just get worse. Some of my fondest memories as a child are of his work. His creations were real to me. RIP Ray.  :'(

That's just great. Now any knob with a 3d printer is a menace. Or more so anyhow.

The only real issue I had with this episode was the magic sonic screwdriver cure of the crimson venom. Dark room, bit of steam, and wave the wand. Weak.

It wasn't really a magic use at all. The machine he put himself in was one of the machines they planned to use to ressurect the people who had survived the process. Obviously the only controls for the machine were on the outside so he had to use the sonic screwdriver to activate it from the inside.

I missed the reference where it indicated there was a reverse-o-matic machine. Ta for clearing that up.

I think Strax, Jenny and Vastra need their own show.

The problem that shit like the WBC is the bread and butter of the American media. Hell, all media these days. I wish there was a news director out there with the backbone to say sod them and ignore their antics.

Saw Iron Man 3 in a nearly empty cinema. It was certainly better than number 2.

I enjoyed that episode. Overall it was very well done. Was it just me was the music throughout the programme simply pulled out of Ripper Street?

The only real issue I had with this episode was the magic sonic screwdriver cure of the crimson venom. Dark room, bit of steam, and wave the wand. Weak.

Torn here. I'm not a huge Hitchcock fan, but Proudhuff has linked some pretty brilliant programming before. Hmmm, decisions, decisions.

I'm shocked and saddened by the news of Jeff Hanneman's death.  :(  I can't believe his doctors couldn't have done more for him.
