I would also like to add that I am born again and have accepted Bonnie Tyler as my personal saviour.

Dave Kendall will make a mint when he sells this beautiful cake of a cover.

It's a shame this cracker of a joke was just glossed over...

Thanks. I'm sure Dave has heard it before. Making "dad pun" jokes about someone's last name isn't the height of wit.
On the other hand I know all we true Squaxx can't wait until PJ is back in the Prog drawing one of Toothy's great lead characters.
You could say we are Holden on for a hero.

That's my third bad pun in this thread. I'm definitely getting me coat

I'll be in the corner with the pointy hat with the 'D' on....... sarcasm filters re-engaged!

And if you're wearing the Bask street kids Dunce cap will the teacher be wearing a Mortis board?

Is that my coat?

News / Re: FUTURE SHOCK! 2000AD Documentary announced

Got to see the film in its entirety this morning at Frightfest in Leicester square. Completely Zarjaz, including getting the end of the Dave Gibbons anecdote that I missed at Thought Bubble last year.

Also a Q&A afterwards with producer and director who confirmed that we can expect an announcement about a DVD release in the next few weeks. Could make a perfect stocking filler for that special Squaxx in your life (i.e. yourself).

Also nice to notice thanks to Pete Wells block's 2000AD Covers Uncovered blog and ECBT2000AD in the end credits which I missed at TB.

Maybe they could run the Winter special Alienist pilot episode as the freebie strip in the weekly Thrill Mail to help out those who didn't see it?

Once you've bought digital it's yours forever.

So as long as Rebellion, the servers, and the Dude abide you can always download it again.

No doubt the paper only guys will tell us that may not always be the case but at the moment I like the idea that I can delete and then re download issues anywhere that I've got a wifi connection.

But I've also got about 20 boxes full of comics and shelves of trades.
