I am not intending to perpetuate this, I just want to respond to your concern.

I am not insinuating that you made this up. I do not frequent the same pages you do, it doesn't interest me to read them.

I will explain my comments below.

So what was the conclusion?
-  I am looking to draw a line under this situation. In my opinion this would ideally be for you and Sauchie to make up and discuss your concerns elsewhere, eventually resolving them. As one would in real life, rather than on the internet.

Is Sauchie/Butch/etc allowed to post his opinion? Or does the claim that he is odious in another place prevent him from doing this/advocate personal attacks?
- It is a claim, as it is based on your opinion. Should behaviour elsewhere prevent posting on the forum? In my opinion no, but then I am not an admin. I thought that the opinion expressed while a bit bizarre was not offensive in any way. When people say 'so and so is s*it@ then I take offence at those comments.

It would be nice if an impartial admin can make a decision either way and have words as the childish bitching is getting really tiresome and to leave unresolved will just perpetuate it.
- Not just related to your argument but to the ones that followed on this thread. While it is always fun to read meltdowns on forums from a ghoulish observer perspective I think that overall it damages the whole community spirit. I know that everyone cannot agree all the time, especially on the internet, and that arguments happen however it is my opinion that admins should step in to moderate these situations getting out of control. Without some conclusion reached I couldn't help but feel this would be one that would bubble away.

I hope that helps explain where I was coming from and I hope you can now see that I was not intending any personal attack.

Well said, sir.

I'm enjoying the comments on this fascinating Dredd story and the way Williams and Flint are portraying JD and Hershey.
Also looking forward to the collected edition which Rob Williams tweeted will be forthcoming.

Good work all round

A quick glance at the City of Dredd Facebook page reveals recent entries about Jerry Hall block which was at war with its neighbour Mick Jagger.
And Enid Blyton block has shown up several times most recently in the last Sensitive Klegg story.

To offer a slightly different opinion this is not really what A&E is for.

You need to get in to see your GP this week, who can give you some medication for your holiday and may suggest referring you to a spinal clinic.

You might also try and book an osteopath before you go away. An un-twisting and clicking may help.

All the best

There's a Droid life

Dredd is great, Henry Flint's use of colour and panel layout continues to blow my mind

Absalom has a quiet moment with a bit of the old Parklife

Helium's dogfight continues with a great last page.

Outlier is in the green as they approach the Hurde ship, or the Doomsday machine from Star Trek OS

And it's all hitting the fan in Jaegir

Another great prog all round this week

Monsters

Mummy told me there were monsters. They live out there behind the big wall. There didn't used to be monsters. Mummy said in the old world they only appeared in stories. Then a bad man called Booth pressed a magic button and all the monsters became real.

Mummy says I shouldn't worry about monsters, she says the Judge men keep us safe from them. I think she had her fingers crossed when she said that. She also says I can ask a Judge man for help but they scare me as much as the monsters. They don't have eyes or anything, just those big scary hats.

Mummy knows all about monsters and shops and schools and stuff like that. She helps me pick out my clothes and makes me nice things to eat. She says that one day we'll get out of this block and go to live somewhere nicer. She knows lots of stuff but she doesn't know about the monster in the pipes.

My room is real nice with pictures and pretty curtains that Mummy made for me but there are big pipes coming through the wall. Mummy calls them ducts and says they are there to make the air nice but I know they are really where the monster lives.

At night after Mummy has read my story and I've said goodnight to her I lie down and close my eyes. That's when the monster comes and whispers thing. Things like "Miss Shun in concrete". I don't know who Miss Shun is, or why she is in concrete. Maybe she got stuck by accident. One night the monster said "No ta, get a lock" but I don't know what I have to get a lock for.

I think the monster must be lonely, I heard it taking to Miss Shun again this morning, it said "Miss Shun, fail. No talk back." and then it said it was "Searching for home." I think it's lost.

I told Mummy about the lost monster in the pipes but she wasn't really listening to me. Then I asked her why someone would want rusty sequins. She said that was a funny thing to ask. I told her that the monster was trying to sell rusty sequins, I thought it was trying to get money so it could stop living in our pipes and go home.

That's when Mummy got a funny look on her face and asked me exactly what the monster had said. I thought hard and told her it sounded like "Sell this rusty sequin. Fail. Retry" and it kept saying it over and over again. That's when Mummy rushed into my room and put her ear to the pipes.

Now we are sitting in the Judge man wagon and lots of people are running from the block. The Judge man says the monster is called a UXB. I hope it goes home soon so we can as well.

The limited edition Greg Staples art print that came with the Dark Justice hardback from the 2000AD store.

119 of 250. Measures 28 x 19 cm on art card.

In an archival standard pocket with a comic backing board and posted in an A4 card backed envelope.

I'm keeping the hardback with its book plate but don't really have anything to do with the print so here it is as a 100% charity auction for Cancer Research UK with free second class p&p from me so every penny you pay goes to a very good cause. So please make a bid or share on twitter streams or other forums.

cheers
