Vol 9 of the Charley's war Titan collection has been postponed to November 9th it seems, with a new visual with planes instead of the Zeppelin.

"Like new" paperback copy of ABC Warriors Volgan War v. 2 going for £4.80 today (Oct 13th) and should be free delivery because it's a warehouse deal.

I understand that the books have extra panels/spreads, etc, not included in the original comic run. Is this just the hardbacks? Are the paperbacks the same in every way inside?
They share exactly the same content (except at the end of vol2 softcover it is written "end of volume 1").

It is not too often that this comic is displayed on ebay, and there is another one proposed as of today on ebay.de. It would be best to ask the seller for details (international shipping, paypal) before bidding I think.

But, since we've only had vols 1 and 2 as paperbacks with no sign of 3 and 4 to my knowledge, there's always a chance. In other words, hurry up and get the next two out, ferfucksakes!

And related, according to amazon slaine: books of invasions came out in paperback last march. They didn't, did they?

They did... in the USA http://forums.2000adonline.com/index.php/topic,35704.0.html

I gave up and bought the Best of 2000ad with the story in. Odd it ended up there but not in Complete Nemesis 3. Anyone know if this was rectified in the 2nd print?
Nope, second print is exactly like the first one (except it is marked as second print)

The ABCs really need some Casefiles-type repackaging.  Time and again I go to buy the new collections and realise that I already have this bit and that bit, and what I really want is the whole thing in four books to sit in between Ro-Busters and Nemesis on my thrillshelf: 1980's B&W, 1990's colour, 2000's B&W and 2000's colour.

Enjoy!

For my part, I dream of oversized collections, an absolute edition or an IDW artist's edition...

In my case I really like Khronicles because it is fun and full of humor. I like the idea of a quest where our robots have to collect seven heads that stands as archetype of Order over Khaos. Under that (fun) pagan level mostly inspired and written by Tony Skinner, we found the usual suspects (the Torquemada religious type, scientists without conscience ..), and Hekate with its backwards logic can easily be seen as a blue print for Requiem's world of Resurrection. In fact most of the archetypes of Order displays in Khronicles will find a "cast"  in Requiem's world. Other aspects of the story links it to Sha, so when it comes to talk about the extended Millsverse, Khronicles is a very interesting arc to discuss...
... but (mostly as a reminder to myself) without taking it too seriously:

And also just any other general ABC Warriors info for the fun of it. For example, could anyone sum up where the ABC Warriors have gone and what they're goals are in one paragraph, just to give a sparse look at the whole saga? Thanks.

Again it is nicely sum up by Dark Jimbo here  ;) http://www.amazon.co.uk/ABC-Warriors-amp-Nemesis-Warlock/lm/RO2KZS82FA1VL/ref=cm_lmt_dtpa_f_3_rdssss0.
Also, there is a recap in the Volgan War trade that could be useful to you (see file attached, I hope you have good eyes)

No GN for third word war, just a six issues comics for the american market (and only reprinting book one). But it seems that a reprint of Accident Man from Toxic! (and perhaps Dark Horse material too) is on its way.

I've just bought what seems to be the DC trade version of The Meknificent Seven (it hasn't arrived yet). My question is: how is that spine going to measure up to its 2000ad shelf pals? Is it Rebellion size or more like a Titan trade original comic size?
You will find a picture of all the recent reprint spines here http://forums.2000adonline.com/index.php/topic,35843.0.html

Ans as of the original question, the first ABC story to see print in France was Khronicles of Khaos/hellbringer and I really enjoy it without knowing at the time any previous material.
