"Good eh?"

Has to be a better idea than Angel gang members surviving by being encased in healing crystals by scavengers living beside lava rivers ;)

General / Re: The Greatest Cover Ever: The F...

Whilst 1304 is a lovely piece of artwork, it's a little too static compared to 61. Between the two covers 1304 would just blend in with all the other posed shot covers on the shelves whereas 61 has a nice "If you don't pick me up I'll kick your teeth in!" look to it.

It's not, as a few people have pointed out the greatest piece of artwork to ever grace a cover, but it is one of the most iconic and striking.

There's my reason's, nostalgia doesn't figure in them so 61 it is then.

Being a total trivia knacker, I can even tell you where it's from, and that is "Three of a Kind", the eighties comedy sketch show starring Lenny Henry, Tracey Ullman and David Copperfield (not the magician or Dickens character).

The joke was:

You've seen the film.
You've read the book.
You've counted the Oscars...
Now buy the doll

HANDI, BENDHI, GHANDI

Complete with his own wardrobe
and detachable loin cloth.
buy one and get 400 million followers free.

I feel somewhat sad and ashamed to know all this, but I do have the Three of a kind video and book so it's not as bad as it looks really ;)

I usually get somebody else to do it for me anyway. I don't want to touch it.
