Yup, still bored Bou. Been off work, but have been using the time to catch up on unfinished file work.

sound of one finger typing inbetween minute long pauses

Out of sheer boredom I scanned my very bruised looking wrist into my PC, (I couldn't comfortably twist the rest of my arm underneath the scanner lid) and I may send it in to one of those dodgy accident sites out there on the Net.

Hmm, I wonder if I can claim against Jack Frost?

I'm adding this one because it annoys the hell out of me.

Dear myself, why is that some of the pictures don't show up on the boards, and how can I see them?

Auntie karne says

I haven't a f*cking clue me old china, but if you right click on the un-displayed picture you wish to view (you know, small white box with a red X in it) and copy the adress (URL)into your internet explorer task bar adress box(It's at the top of your screen)and click Go (that little command box at the end of it, you should be taken to the picture.

When you have looked at it enough, press to go back and you should find that the picture has magically appeared under the message. If you get one of those annoying page cannot be displayed messages, it's probably because the pic is no longer there, or the URL is incorrect.

Hope this is of some use, you sexy looking fellow you.

Auntie karnes reply to Dounreay

If you want to suggest warmth I would go with the red curtains, if however you want to create a cool, fresh look I would go for the green. You must remember though that red can cause you to act agressive whereas green has an opposite calming effect.

It is considered in some of the less civilised quarters of the world a huge compliment to break wind or belch after a meal, as this is taken as a sign that you have enjoyed it. I myself feel that there is no reason to break wind at any time, even when alone.

A well mannered and well raised person should never kiss on a first date, however a f*ck is quite acceptable.

In answer to your questions Bou:

I have found a number of variations on how to pronounce malchidiel, the most commonly used of these appears to be "Mal-Kee-Deel".

In answer to your question on advanced quantum physics, I think you may find the link below useful.

Now then, now then. I have here in my hand a letter from a young man going by the name of oddboy, who says "Dear karne, can you fix it for me to...."

Right are you all paying attention? Here's how to get yourself a spanky icon.

1.Choose your icon.
  Icons are 32x32 pixel gifs.
There are many examples on the 2000ad website
already. To find out the name of the icon you want,
right click on it and check the properties.

If you can't find a suitable icon, or have one of
your own that you would like to use
  send the image to binaries@2000adonline.com
Animated gifs are permissible, but should be no
  larger than about 5k
If you can't create one, ask on the message board
and someone may make one for you if they can be
arsed or are not too "busy".

Icons will usually be uploaded to the site the same
working day, assuming they are sent while Wake is
at work, So don't expect to be able to use them
  instantly.

2.Follow the link to the database chat room.

3.Type /icon then the name of the icon you want.

4.Find a message on the message board you have
previously posted to check. If you have not
previously posted just reply to any of the messages
  already there.

5.You should, if you haven't b*llocksed it up, now
  have your icon.

6.Think of something else irritating to ask Wake.

And while I'm at it:

Dear Auntie karne, Why can't I reply to the messages on the board?

You can only reply to each individual thread message a certain number of times, I can't remember how many exactly and I'm not going to check. If you can't reply to one post, try another until it lets you.

Regards
karne unofficial secretary to Wake, and only
pretending to be a grumpy b*st*rd.

"how come I can't post to the Lets Set a Record Thread with three killer jokes"

You can only reply to each individual thread message a certain number of times. If you can't reply to one post try another until it lets you. There's over 100 messages on the thread at the moment so just keep scrolling until you find one. Let's have them jokes Dounreay.
