Am I mistaken, might the last option have something to do with something that actually happened to one of the better fanzine editors not that long ago?

Well, you should have it by now.

How bad is it? On a scale of:

1 (a wee bit substandard)

to

10 (Babe Race 2000)

The one I sent in was miles better. And it had an actual twist and stuff. Was it good enough? I Doubt it? But hey, it's all good. :)

Seriously, though.

I did write a script based on a medieval story I'm working on. I transplanted it into a pseudo-medieval futire setting and added a bit of shock to it.

It was crap. Totally, irredeemably, utterly butterly crap.

As in, worse than scojo's efforts... if you're really up for a laugh, I'll send it you, PVS...

"Hmmm... I see a possible future shock in that, where's me stamp addressed envelope."

Oi! That was _my_ idea!

General / Oi! Where's my rejection letter?

So, back in February, for a laugh*, I decided to send a script and synopsis to 2000AD, with a big brown SAE so they could send it back to me.

What the hey, I thought.

It is now April... and since I've not heard anything, I'm just wondering... how long do they take to send you your rejection letter?

Any ideas, scojo?

*as in, makes a change from academic treatises on early medieval Christian fiction, doesn't it?

"Since when did Steve Moore write 'Laser Eraser and Pressbutton'? Unless he did it under the pseudonym of 'Pedro Henry'. . ."

Um, yes, he did, actually.

Yes, but he *did* write Axel Pressbutton. So even if he isn't a comics genius now, he was once...

"I have to admit thought, what the HELL is going on with Zenith lads? It's been delayed since, what, november? "

Is this to do with the Peter Carroll thing?

The one Zenith book I have is an old copy of Titan book 3 (read 2nd half of Phase 2) and in the intro it mentions that they were threatened with legal action because right at the end of phase 2, Morrison nicked a whole spell or something from one of Carroll's Chaos magic workbooks. Nice one, Grant.

General / Re: Warrior reprints in the Meg?.....

Well, only having in my possession about a half-dozen issues of warrior, I'd be well chuffed to see some of the stuff in the Meg. A lot of things the meg's reprinting I missed first time round, so I am all for it.
