bottom 100 does sound like a challenge... Though I think imdb poorly pick upon horror and scifi in their rankings x

I reaaaaally want to see cabin in the woods - its looks exactly my sort of film - but fucked it up today and saw a french film about fostering called something that's translates roughly as 'The Kid with the bike'. It was actually quite a good film but it wasn't quite the same as expecting to see cabin in the woods.

Just watched alien vs predator 2 and I loved it... Except for the humans. Like cut every single scene with the humans out cept when they're getting killed and itd go from 3/10 to 10/10. Also the aliens and predator have blatant sexual tension and should just go for dinner x

ooh eclectic playlist drools - do you have it to copy and paste so I can have a listen? How about you shave the right side of your face and always sit on my left? Relationships are all about compromises lolol. Also I just noticed you implied it was I who was having toilet difficulties >_> noooooo! Literally, a shitty venue. If I don't have to look passable for a date for the rearranged murder mystery then I'm so sooo wearing a black turtle neck, fake 'tasche, monocle and fez - stereotypical dodgy charcter tintin stylee - t'will be heavy lols x

Edit - awwww some of these stories - boys talking romance lol so cute - some of you are such wee darlins x

Bloody hell, SBT dude, you bought an entire season box-set for a mere FIVER?  That says a lot about how popular the latter seasons of The X-Files are, and how much that particular franchise outstayed it's welcome...

I'll see your Ice  and Squeeze /Tooms  (all great episodes), and up you with the matchless Darkness Falls , the one with the bugs in the forest, X-Files at it's very and scary best...

I read the book for the darkness falls for the first time alone in a caravan in the woods. Scary biscuits x

First, a gig date with really hot guy. He didn't give more than a couple word replies and didn't like the band.

Not the Skindred/Therapy? gig for a fiver you mention in your profile? If so he might need a check-up to see if he still has a soul (you have to go through BUPA, as they haven't got souls either). I'd pay 10 times that to see them, I made a thorough mess of going to see Therapy? in the early 90s and would happily rectify the matter.

Yesh!!! I'm well known for always finding the super cool and mega cheap events and that was such a bargain I just bought all my mates tickets and an awesome impromptu prezzie. Asked mega hot guy who loves gigs and always goes mental dancing to be my date and lots of his friends were going too. He SRSLY just stood, arms crossed while all of our friends and myself went mental :/ therapy were super amazing, dressed to the nines in tarantino suits and playing all the big hits including the best ones from the divine troublegum. Such nostalgia as I had their cassettes and they were on the roadrash soundtrack and everything! Even better than they were on record (not an idle brag). Skindred, again, hugely better live - particularly a live band. Third time I've seen them live yet don't really listen in the house. They always get the crowd jumping and most people had their tops off in reggae rave metal lovin. Like if bob marley and slipknot had made sweet sweet love.

See Emperor I told yah, get a shave and a six pack and we could have a good thing going ;P x

I used to think he was amazing but lately I can't be arsed with much of his stuff. Although the news that he's got a few more personal things on the go is interesting. I agree with some parts of what others have said yet never quite all of it.

In short.

-Love The Invisibles, although it's really only the first volume and the final issue which I return to.
-Only read Doom Patrol fairly recently and thought that was fabulous. Might dig it out for another run through actually.
-Flex Mentallo bored me rigid yet I enjoyed Joe the Barbarian quite a bit when read in one go.
-Like what I've read of JLA and X-Men but thought Batman stank so haven't bothered to try Action Comics.
-Appreciated All Star Superman on an intellectual level but didn't really enjoy it.
-Don't much care for Animal Man and found We3 unpleasantly mawkish.
-Never quite got The Filth or Seven Soldiers, although individual parts of both were quite enjoyable.
-Really, really, really like Seaguy and think Kill Your Boyfriend is adorable. Wanted to like Vimanarama as much but couldn't.
-New Adventures of Hitler amused, while Bible John simply reminded me that it's pretty hard to write something as good as From Hell.
-Zenith's still one of my favourite 2000AD stories as long as it's in black and white.

Pretty much this except... I found animal man funny and fabby. I liked we3 but frank quitelys amazing art work greatly over shadows the writing - i think it would be a great film. I liked the filth but I get some people really didn't cos it was pretty odd x

in writing... mr morrison is a self indulgent writer - he doesn't compromise to usual industry standards as there are many many examples with in his work. Batman on smack. All my favourite writers and artists are self indulgent and I love his work!!!

In interviews.. he come across as an eccentric. For example, when he said that he contracted the exact same injuries as a character that he based on himself in the invisibles did and that these two facts were connected. But, of course this might all be for publicity as he is a very clever man.

In gossip... Someone who grew up in his town claimed that when he was younger he used to run around pretending he was a super hero and got laughed at and bullied for it with the 'look who's laughing now' tag line. Also yeah the miller/morrison fall out cos they both bum about glasgow.

In my personal experience (the one I go on)... Only met him at a signing but he took the time to shake everyones hand and asked every single fan why they had brought the comics they had (that's a shit load of all star supermans and batman asylums) which is a true pro in the best sense. He gushed over my 80s 2000ads and was nothing but a delightful man.

I have 2 disasters from the past week.

First, a gig date with really hot guy. He didn't give more than a couple word replies and didn't like the band.

Second, not as hot guy I had lots in common with. A murder mystery date (profile pics my character) which got cancelled due to plumbing issues so all dressed up and no where to go, a friend had an impromptu dress up soiree. Friends house parties are a sucky first date and even more so that all he did was moan that myself and some of my friends smoke.

The Double Deuce x

I liked the authority and wondering what the new fantasy project he's got with quitely will be like. Miller doing fantasy? Yup you heard that right x

* Although it turns out Grant Morrison wrote the best episode of that and hints he might have had a hidden hand in some of Millar's early American comics.

** Of course the Grants (Alan and Morrison) might not agree - the former not being shy about it either.

Allegedly, miller not giving morrison a credit on something morrison claims to have written is why they don't get on. I think some people are a bit nasty about mark miller when he is only trying to write enjoyable stories for people to read x
