Film Discussion / Re: Dredd (2012)

Doesn't really make sense at all if I'm honest, her falling out of range is no different to walking out of range under arrest. There was no concrete or anything 'blocking the signal' as she fell straight down the empty shaft and she broke the only thing in the way (the window) on the way out!

As shoalin_monkey said, would have been best to stun her or even just leave her there until adequate support could arrive.

6 weeks into my subscription and this is the first time I haven't had the prog by 10am saturday morning. Shame, but if it's only late 1 week in every 7 I'll be happy. :)

And given the fact that this film is meant as a 50th anniversary homage to all the previous Bonds, it's no surprise it feels as though it's got a foot in the 60's.

Both Bruce Willis and JGL are MASSIVE box office draws, replace them with two lesser known actors and I bet Looper wouldn't have done half as well.

Have just caught up with episodes 1-4. Wow. Once T-Dog died (I liked him, and was glad he went out as hero and not a pointless death) I thought 'no way they can kill someone else', and then BAM, 10 minutes later Lori's dead too.

Throw in the return of Merle, the Governer and everything else, and this season is looking mighty exciting.

Just back from watching Moon on the big screen. Bloody hell but that's a good movie.

I love Moon.

Saw Iron Sky a couple of days ago, enjoyed it immensely, glad it didn't take itself very seriously at all.

Another fantastic prog, slightly marred by the cover IMO. Looks like Point has borrowed Dredds chin for the day.

How close do you think we are to suffering Comic-movie-fatigue?
