Really? If anything I'd say Dredd was the District 9 of this year. Anything with Bruce 'Where's my hair gone?' Willis cannot possibly be considered as a 'minor' film. Add in JGL, who seems headed for maximum stardom, and it gets even bigger.

Better than the cringeworthy Expendables Orange ad, which was blatantly filmed in two completely seperate places. At least the Sweeny one has some ELO in it. :D

When I saw it on friday the 7th there were 6 people in a 300 seater screen. When I saw it on last saturday there were 40. It certainly seems as though it's picking up momentum, but it might be too late in places, my local Odeon has now moved it to the smallest screen in the cinema, a measly 100 seater.

I did send him a tweet asking if he'd seen it but got no reply...

Batman films are ludicrously unfaithful to the comics, Bat's goes from a lithe, agile ninja detective, to an armoured tech-thug with a 50 a day habit. :(

My third viewing tonight too, the girlfriends second, and the rest of my family for the first time. Another £50 to the Dredd-ometer! :)

Down to 95% on RT now thanks to DigitalSpy and the Daily Fail. Ah well, was nice when it lasted.

Is Hot Shot a round all on its own, or an alternative command for an Incendiary?

Having seen it a second time my favourite bit now is the scene in the lift after Anderson has just executed the perp with the wife. Anderson is looking down, obviously trying to come to terms with what she has just seen and done, then she looks to the side to see Dredd watching her. The camera lingers on Dredd for a few seconds, he doesn't move or say anything at all, but you can tell he is analyzing Anderson and keeping a close eye on her. A fantastic 6 0dd-seconds of footage.

I second Goaty's sentiments, Dredd is the only time I've sat through a whole film with a massive grin on my face. Twice. Excellent work. :D
