Unfortunately finding the cross over with Swampie a bit dull so far. Judging by the visions assaulting AM's daughter the aftermath might be more interesting than the event.

Books & Comics / Re: Whats everyone reading?

Latest comic:

Think Tank #1. A GREAT read about a reluctant weapons designer working for DARPA. Strongest first issue I've seen in a long time.

Latest book:

The Apocalypse Codex - Charles Stross. It's the latest in Stross' 'Bob Howard/The Laundry' series that transplants HP Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos into the modern day and shows how the British government would try to deal with it (what's worse - fighting Dagon or trying to justify the expenses afterwards?). Can't recommend this series enough.

Is it "Pingu makes for a lovely glove"?

Is there a whole penguin fisting community I've stumbled into? :o

For a wee while I did a rock show on a local radio station and it was a lot of fun. Each week I dragged a different friend into the studio and the 'best' decision we made was to think up the stupidest discussion points to talk about on air (we got one whole show out of 'What would you rather fight - a shark or a bear?' By the second hour we had sharks with robot legs and bears with skeleton keys running around).

I guess that's the best advice I can offer: talk about the silliest things that you know you'll enjoy discussing. If you're having fun than the listeners will too.

The Crimson Ghosts - Dead Eyes Can See.

They sound a lot like the Misfits but hey! If you're gonna steal, steal from the best!

Slaughterbowl (or was it Dinobowl?): the one where prisoners ride dinosaurs in a death game. Remember loving it when I was a kid.

That was reprinted in an extreme edition :)

Was it? Need to track that bad boy down. Thanks for the help!

Oh, sure, yeah...  Laud Gordy for the greatness of No More Heroes, trumpet his name for his and Caio's labours rewarded, welcome his selfless offering of an immensely enjoyable easily-watched-several-times interview with the mighty, self-effacing class act that is John Wagner.  Yet, you all seem to be forgetting...  Take another look and it's there, staring us all in the face, like some kind of malignant smirk.  GordyM.  Writer/Frustrated God-King.

It's not like he's not been warning us all along.  It's only going to get worse, you know.

That said, Gordy, it is all praise well deserved and clearly earned.  Great work, sir.  Thanks very much, in fact, for putting it out there.  (By which I obviously mean the superb interview, since NMH is clearly the work of an unhinged sickster, if in a good way.)

Thank you! And don't worry, when I assume the throne of God King I promise to only wipe out, what, maybe 20% of humanity at most? I'll need the room for my scaletrix, so I'm sure they'll understand.

Might as well use this for a CBR interview with John Wagner:

That's a VERY good interview, even taking into account its distinct lack of me.  :D

Film & TV / Re: Last movie watched...

Ink: a modern day dark fairytale-esque fantasy film done with the style of Terry Gilliam on a budget after having watched Dark City. A bloated description, I know, but it's hard to truly sum up this unique and fantastic film. A must-see as far as I'm concerned. Really wish it was better known.

actually, I thought Batman's voice didnt sound as weird as usual in TDKR...but Bane's voice just sound overly dubbed and manipulated.

Yeah, turning it into more of a voice over was such a dumb idea.

Did I post something ten times? I thought I just modified my post a bit, I asked about "when can I post everywhere?" and saw in another thread that the moderators make a check so that I'm not a porn bot or try to offer people russian women :-[

Is that an option?! :o I'm hanging around the wrong forums...

Anyway, welcome!
