Another David Roach fact! Did you know he lives in South Wales, and has been sighted over the years in Cardiff comic stores with other 2000AD luminaries?

Here's proof - an autograph and sketch I got when I was 15, in a comic and record fair in St Mary's St Cardiff on June 25th 1988!




(I completely forgot I had that! Dug it out of an old diary just now, for the first time in 22 years !!! )

I'm going to keep this bumped, 'cos I just know you lot have enquiring minds, and won't want to miss this opportunity to ask something!

I'm playing The Last of Us Re-Mastered.  It took me about an hour to get into it, and normally I hate stealth games, but by god this is sooooo goooood.  Fairly linear, but nice largish maps that allow a bit of tactical thinking (a bit Rogue Trooper style), but really it's the story and the charatcers that do it for me.  It's one of those 'I must find out what happens in the next bit, oops it's 3am' kind of games.  Really bloody good!

Fez - This is a critically acclaimed Indie Game that's offered with Playstation Plus on the PS4 this month. I had a little go last night and it looks absolutely fantastic. I think it's going to be a mind bender though so I have doubts that I'll ever complete it.

Really pleased to see this as a freebie, Vita is the only Sony platform I have but pretty sure the way their crossbuy deals work I can still grab it this month.

Yeah, Fez is cracking! It really twists your brain, but with a sense of wonder and pleasure. Later on it gets insanely difficult though.

Why is that story so disliked? CotD has some truly classic Dredd moments and one of my favourite one-liners. Reviewing a recording of the final moments of Justice Dept. Anderson notes she has been promoted. Then the the attack comes and everyone is killed, Anderson sees her own head melt in the recording of the attack. 'Congratulations' says Dredd.

hahhaha!  Forgot about that!  I'm thinking this deserves a re-read now.

I don't have a deadline date as yet, but I know this is coming very very soon, so get in there folks!!

I read City of the Damned when i was about 12 and i absolutely loved it.  For me the horror aspect of it, with vampires and a zombie Dredd!!, was brilliant.  I also really loved when they reprinted the episode that got lost of steve dillons artwork - going back to compare the two versions was something i did quite a few times.  I also recently did that with the original progs of 149-151 Judge Death and the recent colour reprint - its amazing how much editing they did on that!

Yeah, I remember that missing page!  Dredd being pursued by zombie Dredd down hallways and through ruins - lots of long shadows and all that.  Brilliant stuff! 

Yep, it is Dillon that did it for me too.  He's my hands-down favourite Dredd artist of all time, and in no small measure because of City of the Damned.

That said, Gibson's Dredd crawling blind on his hands and knees through the fires of hell is a stand-out moment as well.

Saw it some time ago. I agree it was excellent! The kids enjoyed it too. 

I took me and my three girls for £30 all in - £26 for family Odeon tickets, £4 for four bags of popcorn from the corner shop, and four free bottles of tap water. Job done.

Hmm, it missed the mark for me. Not majorly, but the fact I was struggling to stay awake in the middle of it was unusual for me. Still, some scenes were well done, particularly when they were all bickering. Some nice spaceships and suchlike.

The kids got a bit bored of it. They got more enjoyment out of telling me off for taking them to a film with so much swearing in it.

In summary, it was ok.
