The original Xbox version of Dredd Vs Death is playable on the 360 with a small patch from Xbox Live, as is the Rogue Trooper one.

How old are your lecturers, out of interest?  Does their age match my 'it's a generation thing' theory?  Or are they just intellectual snobs?

Yeah, I've asked if Cushing should be considered the 2nd Dr, and been answered with derisory laughter.  I think the film is not considered 'canon'.

I have the biochip one and the SD one.

I wear the biochip one constantly, proudly facing forward, and often stop to adjust it so it is exactly centre.  I love it, but it's getting very bobbly.  I have to wash it often, as I wear it so regularly, and the washing machine is doing it no favours.  If the 2000AD shop re-issued them, I'd snap at least one up straight away!

My SD one has had almost no wear.  On it's first outing one of my kids said 'What does that mean daddy?  Scooby Doo?'  Straight back into the drawer with it.

I'd consider wearing a Mean Machine dial one, but unfortunately missed my opportunity to get one.

RIP Prop Joe actor Robert Chew of the Wire

Gutting - love Prop Joe.

Yeah, that scene where his nephew asks him about the pictures on the wall was one of the most affecting in the whole series. Prop Joe was the second most legendary character after Omar.

I intended to make Dredd more watched than Star Wars: ANH.  However, I shot this target in the foot last night by watching Star Wars: ANH again. I watched via my xbox through an HDI cable, and on my new telly.

The incredibly crisp picture didn't do it any favours though.  While the special effects still looked sharp and fairly realistic, it highlighted how cruddy and primitive some of the physical props were, most notably the control panels on the Death Star, and in the Rebel Base.

While Lucas's distillation of folk tales into one plot makes the story timeless, in other ways the film is looking quite dated.

Then I watched Dredd again, and balance was restored.

Whereas I'VE got a date tonight!

plus an old flame has just emailed me wanting to hang out.

I hope you celebrated with a little special me time.

The whole point of having ladies around is that you need less 'me time'.   ;)
