I'd agree at £350 - £500 on this. I'm one of the few to have a Dolan half splash of Mean Machine and I snagged that for around £150. As Skullmo says, he's not one of the 'popular' artists and this isn't from the Prog. The best you can hope for is that a couple of collectors lock horns over it.

Yeah - 500 top end - that's what I meant - for valuation purposes though if you want to get it insured I'd go for that.

Hiya - I would say Link is on the money with 500. It is a lovely piece but Dolan has never been that popular an artist and it's not from the Prog.

Most non key artist post 500 covers go for about 100 - 500 depending on the artist (more for popular artists like Ezquerra or Dillon). I have only seen 2 Dolan pages for sale and they were around 200 so I would say 500 for a cover seems a reasonable value if it went into auction.

£389 winning bid for that Rogue prelim.  I didn't enter the fray in the end but I don't think I'd have gone that high anyway.  I forget what I paid for the inked prelim I bought a couple of years back (featured in the 1983 2000AD Annual) but it was a fair bit less I think - and came with a pencil version.  Still, it's a lovely piece of work - did anyone here snag it?

I was surprised by how high they went - a clear indicator that the 2000ad original art market is in rude health!

They were lovely designs. It is not often original character designs come up.
