I'm a big fan of this series but I've been holding out for this to drop on Playstation Plus, looks like I was right to wait - it lands tomorrow alongside The Jak and Daxter Trilogy and something called Stealth Inc: A Clone In The Dark for anyone that has a PS3 (and PS+, obviously).

Just to add on to that why the odd sizes exactly?

A5 is an odd size now?

Cheers

Why is FutureQuake huge-sized but the others are small?

Just to add on to that why the odd sizes exactly? Neither match up to any kind of standard - FutureQuake is larger than the current prog and Zarjazz is even smaller than US standard comics - both awkward to find bag & board (too large for the biggest sized boards I've seen & small US bags look like they devour Zarjazz) me being anal aside I feel the small size doesn't do the art in Zarjazz justice.

My mate Dave reckons they'll probably do a sequel too. You heard it here first.

I'm jumping off Batman now and reverting solely to trades; the next issue is a thicker and pricier £4 odd then the following is a £3 odd as it's got a glossier cover or some such. Struggling to keep weekly pulls down (ended up grabbing Daredevil 30 this week after rave reviews about it being one shot friendly like classic comics of old) so nice when a choice is made really easy.

I thought Affleck was a bit of inspired casting but I've never liked Bale in the role so that shows how much I know.

The Killing Joke IS canon in the NEW 52 - in the Batgirl series Barbara Gordon was rebilitated back to walking and she fullly acknowledges what the Joker did to her (via internal dialogue) when he turned up in the book.

On a side note Scott Snyder (current Batman writer) has said that he consides everything that has happened in the past to be canon, in Batman at least,  and works in many references regardless of what DC editorial view as canon. He's one of the few (maybe the only one) who get away with it though as he's DC's darling boy.

It's quite easy to change your Netflix selection to US on PC,360 or PS3. I never access UK selection - it was a barren wasteland when I last checked.

This is my first physical prog (I live in America where I usually just get digital copies because 2000AD isn't sold here) and I think it's a weird point to jump on but I thought Age of the Wolf, Defoe, and Ten Seconders were interesting enough to try and start those two from the beginning soon.

Did you have to order this prog in especially or did you come across it on your travels? and how does it feel to have the thrillpower physically in your hands?

My local newsagents had one left when I popped in for the prog yesterday, looked nice rendition of the D. Not quite sure what you're supposed to do with them when you've got to the end and got hundreds of the buggers.

Good all-rounder prog this week, my highlights was Defoe kicking ass at sea, Buffy turning into a mad
werewolf
and seeing the great werewolf
tree city
.

Not a clue what is going on in Slaine so just enjoying the lovely art.

And that very last episode... ugh.

I liked it!  :o I thought it was a fitting end for the show (not for Dr. Beckett!) :-X

I would have watched any of the rumoured spin-offs they were developing -the one where it was his daughter picking up his work then jumping after him sounded well worth a few hours of anyone's time.

This article on SF Signal is indicative of the lack of interest in Dredd in North America. He read 2000AD, claims he loves Dredd, but still hasn't seen the film. WTF?

Nothing particularly wrong with that, I buy umpteen Spider-Man comics a month and have zero interest in any Spidey movies and only caught the Raimi versions in bits here and there through TV. Just because you love the source material doesn't automatically make you want to watch an adaptation.
